<![CDATA[Abstract The development of technology not only brings positive impacts but also increases negative consequences, one of which is the escalating crime, such as fraud through WhatsApp using the Android Package Kit (APK) modus. This research aims to determine the legal protection for victims of fraud crimes with the APK modus (Android Package Kit) through WhatsApp, as examined under Law No. 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection. It also investigates the legal implementation against online fraud crimes with the APK modus through WhatsApp. This research falls under normative juridical legal research. The results state that legal protection for victims of online fraud crimes with the APK modus through WhatsApp is preventive, aiming for prevention, and repressive, aiming for prosecution. Preventive legal protection is found in Article 5, Article 8, Article 9, Article 10, and Article 12 of Law No. 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection, as well as Article 65 of the same law. Repressive legal protection is outlined in Article 67 and Article 69 of the Personal Data Protection Law. The implementation of the law against online fraud crimes with the APK modus through WhatsApp has been carried out in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law. This legal application is conducted to prevent and anticipate similar crimes, resolve crimes, provide justice to victims, and ensure protection for the community. Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi tidak hanya membawa dampak positif tetapi juga meningkatkan dampak negatif, salah satunya adalah meningkatnya tindak kejahatan, seperti penipuan melalui WhatsApp dengan modus Android Package Kit (APK). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perlindungan hukum terhadap korban kejahatan penipuan dengan modus APK (Android Package Kit) melalui WhatsApp ditinjau dari Undang-Undang No. 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Perlindungan Data Pribadi. Selain itu juga untuk mengetahui implementasi hukum terhadap kejahatan penipuan online dengan modus APK melalui WhatsApp. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian hukum yuridis normatif. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa perlindungan hukum terhadap korban kejahatan penipuan online dengan modus APK melalui WhatsApp bersifat preventif yang bertujuan untuk pencegahan dan represif yang bertujuan untuk penindakan. Perlindungan hukum secara preventif terdapat pada Pasal 5, Pasal 8, Pasal 9, Pasal 10, dan Pasal 12 UU No. 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Perlindungan Data Pribadi, serta Pasal 65 undang-undang yang sama. Perlindungan hukum secara represif dituangkan dalam Pasal 67 dan Pasal 69 UU Perlindungan Data Pribadi. Penerapan hukum terhadap kejahatan penipuan online dengan modus APK melalui WhatsApp telah dilakukan sesuai dengan UU Perlindungan Data Pribadi. Penerapan hukum ini dilakukan untuk mencegah dan mengantisipasi kejahatan serupa, menyelesaikan kejahatan, memberikan keadilan bagi korban, dan menjamin perlindungan bagi masyarakat.]]>
