Abstract

The recent klitih case in Yogyakarta province is a result of the lack of the parents’ role in educating their children, and moral decadence. This klitih case has become a public concern because it endangers human lives. The need for comprehensive intervention to minimize this type of crime becomes a necessity. The hope is to create peace, comfort, tranquility and a prosperous life for the people in Yogyakarta. This study aims to explore the importance of the role of the family in educating children to minimize crime and moral decadence in the province of the Yogyakarta Special Region. This research is descriptive-qualitative, with the main approach using a literature review as a data-mining tool. The results show there are background factors causing klitih crime. There are also roles parents can play in educating their children and minimizing moral decadence in Yogyakarta. This study recommends parents be more intense in monitoring the activities of their children. Lastly, this study also recommends involving religious and moral values of the culture to foster a child’s thinking sense to avoid harmful, deviant behavior and crime.

Abstract

 Indonesia's energy potential is certainly quite large. Yet, this potential must be managed properly so that it does not extinct quickly. Therefore, it is important to have an innovation in order to help minimize the sustainable use of fossil energy. Currently, there are good practices that have been carried out in the use of renewable energy such as that carried out by PT. PJB UP Paiton in its social responsibilityprogram in Andungbiru village, Probolinggo district through the innovation of the kampung SETRUM. This study aims to explore the implementation and sustainability of the kampung SETRUM program implemented. With a qualitative descriptive approach through interviews and literature studies, the results show that the implementation of the SETRUM village program has good implications for thecommunity. More details can be seen through the glasses of the sustainability compass, which includes several integrated aspects such as nature, economy, social and well being. Of course, integrated innovation is one of the appropriate alternative solutions in answering the problems that occur, as well as a tangible manifestation of an energy-friendly and sustainable development program

Abstract

Even though the COVID-19  pandemic has not ended, signs of improvement have been felt by many people. This is an opportunity and opportunity to improve due to problems that have hindered, including the education sector. There needs to be a further intervention related to the education sector, especially in the leadership aspect of the educational institution. This research aims to explore the leadership of school principals after the COVID-19  pandemic, especially in vocational high schools. With a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observation and literature view, at the Diponegoro Depok Vocational School, it was found that several roles had been carried out by the principal. As for the roles that can be seen from the aspect of supervision and managerial. In addition, in general, the principal can act as a facilitator, motivator, mentor, consultant, communicator, counselor, leader, innovator and is responsible for achieving educational goals. With the many roles that can be given by the principal, of course the hope is to advance education in Indonesia in general. With guarantees, they must be able to face increasingly complicated challenges, for example in developing an education system that is adaptive and able to adapt to the times.

Abstract

The rapid development of education is a sign that educational institutions must be quick and responsive in responding to this reality. In vocational schools, schools must be required to always produce graduates who are always needed by the industrial world. However, an education system that focuses solely on the demands of work backfires. One of the impacts that arise if only focusing on the demands of the industry will cause decadence, for example in aspects of personality, religious and cultural insights and partial emotional intelligence. Therefore, it is necessary to intervene in one of them in the form of integration-interconnection of Education. This study aims to examine the implementation of integration-interconnection of education in Islamic boarding school based at Diponegoro Vocational High School, Yogyakarta. This research is a field research with descriptive-qualitative type. The approach used in this study is using random cluster technique through observation, interview and literature review. The results showed that there are efforts made by schools in realizing the integration-interconnection of Education. The effort is through three elements, namely Religion, Science and education. However, there are still some obstacles in its implementation, such as learning approach factors, curriculum change factors and factors of competence of teachers. However, the result of the combination of these three elements is expected to contribute in the form of superior values, skilled, religious, independent and akhlaqul karimah.
