Abstract

Even though the COVID-19  pandemic has not ended, signs of improvement have been felt by many people. This is an opportunity and opportunity to improve due to problems that have hindered, including the education sector. There needs to be a further intervention related to the education sector, especially in the leadership aspect of the educational institution. This research aims to explore the leadership of school principals after the COVID-19  pandemic, especially in vocational high schools. With a descriptive qualitative approach through interviews, observation and literature view, at the Diponegoro Depok Vocational School, it was found that several roles had been carried out by the principal. As for the roles that can be seen from the aspect of supervision and managerial. In addition, in general, the principal can act as a facilitator, motivator, mentor, consultant, communicator, counselor, leader, innovator and is responsible for achieving educational goals. With the many roles that can be given by the principal, of course the hope is to advance education in Indonesia in general. With guarantees, they must be able to face increasingly complicated challenges, for example in developing an education system that is adaptive and able to adapt to the times.

Abstract

Problem dalam penelitian ini adalah munculnya indikasi sebagian kelompok mahasiswa yang tertarik dengan cara berpikir kelompok radikal. Terlepas dari ada tidaknya latar belakang aktivisme keagamaan, persoalan serius yang perlu mendapat perhatian mahasiswa adalah sikap eksklusif yang muncul di dunia kampus serta mengantisipasi mahasiswa mulai menjadi tidak toleran, baik karena pemahaman agama atau karena mereka mabuk agama yang disebabkan oleh terfokusnya pada teknologi media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1. Untuk mengetahui nilai nilai Islam moderat yang ditransformasikan terhadap pengurus ORMAWA ISTAZ AL AZHAR Menganti. 2. Untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan Internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam moderat terhadap pengurus ORMAWA ISTAZ AL AZHAR Menganti. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan observasi. Adapun teknik analisis data menggunakan Miles dan Huberman, yang tahapannya meliputi: reduksi data (data reduction), penyajian data (data display) serta penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi (conclusion drawing/ verification). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan (1) Nilai nilai Islam moderat yang ditransformasikan terhadap ORMAWA yakni, Tawassuth, Tawazzun, Al i’tidal, Tasamuh, Al musawah dan Assyura. (2) Pelaksanaan internalisasi Islam moderat yakni dengan tahap transformasi nilai, tahap transaksi nilai, dan juga tahap internalisasi.

Abstract

This study examines the internalization of moderate Islamic educational values ​​towards a pluralistic society (a case study of Balun Turi Lamongan Village). Through this research, it can be explained about the internalization of moderate Islamic educational values ​​towards a pluralistic society (a case study of Balun Turi Lamongan village). This study aims to (1) To find out the Process of Internalizing the Values ​​of Moderate Islamic Education towards Pluralism Communities in Balun Village, Turi Lamongan District (2) To find out the values ​​of Moderate Islamic Education embedded in Pluralism Communities in Balun Village, Turi Lamongan District.This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Therefore, this research process is expected to produce descriptive data in the form of written or oral data from people or behavior that can be observed to provide an explanation of How the Process of Internalizing Moderate Islamic Education Values ​​Against Pluralism Communities in Balun Village, Turi Lamongan District and What Are the Values ​​of Moderate Islamic Education Embedded in a Pluralistic Society in Balun Village, Turi Lamongan District. The results of the study show (1) the values ​​of moderate Islamic education have been embedded in the minds of the Balun village community since the emergence of religions in Balun Village and the Balun Village community believes more in the role of a village head and religious figure in internalizing the values ​​of moderate Islamic education. in the Balun village community (2) the values ​​of Islamic education embedded in the Balun village community include Tasamuh values, Shura values, I'tidal values, Al-Musawah, islah values, tahaddur values, awlawiyah values, Wataniyah values ​​and Muwatanah

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) are Islamic educational institutions that play a crucial role in shaping religious and social character, aiming to cultivate individuals with noble character who bring benefit to all of creation. This study aims to examine the implementation of the moderate Islamic education model at Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School and Al-Anwar Islamic Boarding School, identify differences in their approaches, analyze the impacts on students and the surrounding community, and explore the challenges faced in its development. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a multisite research design, in which data were obtained through observation and documentation, then analyzed descriptively and interpreted with the support of relevant theories. The findings reveal that both institutions implement moderate Islamic education through learning modules, extracurricular activities, and daily practices that instill anti-violence values, preserve local culture, and foster national commitment. The difference lies in Sidogiri Islamic Boarding School maintaining a strong adherence to traditional salaf values, whereas Al-Anwar Islamic Boarding School integrates salaf traditions with formal education. The impact can be seen in the positive responses from students and their parents toward the provided guidance. The challenges faced include diverse cultural backgrounds that are not always aligned, requiring proper management and structuring so that the teachings can be well accepted and understood.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of character education in Tafsir Jalalain and Tafsir Al-Ibriz based on the interpretation of Surah Luqman verses 12–19. The topic is essential because both works of tafsir contain universal and contextual moral teachings that can serve as foundations for building students’ noble character in contemporary Indonesia. The research aims to analyze and compare the concept of character education in both interpretations and to identify their relevance to Indonesia’s current character education system. This study employs a qualitative library research approach using content analysis to explore primary and secondary sources. The analysis focuses on interpreting textual meanings and contextual nuances in each tafsir to uncover values related to moral and character development.The findings reveal that both Tafsir Jalalain and Tafsir Al-Ibriz emphasize the development of human character in relation to God, oneself, others, and the surrounding environment. Tafsir Jalalain presents a more universal approach, while Tafsir Al-Ibriz offers local contextualization relevant to Indonesian culture. The two interpretations complement each other and remain highly relevant to strengthening character education in Indonesia today

Abstract

Ketimpangan akses terhadap pendidikan agama masih menjadi persoalan yang mengemuka dalam sistem pendidikan di Indonesia. Meskipun pendidikan agama diposisikan sebagai bagian penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan nilai moral peserta didik, realitas di lapangan menunjukkan adanya perbedaan kualitas dan kesempatan belajar yang dipengaruhi oleh kondisi sosial-ekonomi, kebijakan pendidikan, serta distribusi sumber daya yang tidak merata. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ketimpangan akses pendidikan agama dengan menggunakan perspektif teori konflik, serta menganalisis implikasinya terhadap mobilitas sosial dalam masyarakat. Penulisan makalah ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi kepustakaan dengan menelaah pemikiran tokoh-tokoh teori konflik, seperti Karl Marx, Max Weber, dan Pierre Bourdieu, serta berbagai hasil penelitian kontemporer dalam bidang sosiologi pendidikan dan pendidikan agama Islam. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan agama tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana transmisi ajaran dan nilai keagamaan, tetapi juga berperan sebagai modal sosial dan kultural yang dapat memengaruhi posisi sosial individu. Ketimpangan dalam akses dan mutu pendidikan agama berpotensi memperkuat stratifikasi sosial dan membatasi peluang mobilitas sosial, khususnya bagi kelompok masyarakat yang kurang beruntung. Oleh karena itu, pemerataan pendidikan agama perlu dipahami sebagai bagian dari upaya mewujudkan keadilan sosial. Tanpa kebijakan yang inklusif dan berorientasi pada pemerataan kualitas, pendidikan agama berisiko menjadi sarana reproduksi ketimpangan sosial, bukan sebagai instrumen pemberdayaan dan peningkatan mobilitas sosial.
