Abstract

Abstract. The environment is a place where all living creatures on Earth, especially humans, exist. Natural resources such as minerals and coal are Indonesia’s natural wealth not created by humans. The enactment of Law Number 6 of 2023 on job creation has sparked much controversy since its inception. This research aims to determine and analyze the impact of the enactment of Law Number 6 of 2023 on job creation on environmental issues, specifically in the mining sector. The method used is normative juridical. The results and discussion of Law Number 6 of 2023 on job creation have brought about several changes to environmental and mining regulations, as well as impacts on society. Keyword: Approval, Omnibus Law on Job Creation, Environmental Issues Abstrak. Lingkungan merupakan suatu tempat yang di dalamnya terdapat semua makhluk hidup di Bumi, khususnya manusia. Sumber daya alam berupa mineral dan batubara adalah kekayaan alam Indonesia yang bukan hasil buatan manusia. Undang-undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2023 Tentang cipta kerja merupakan undang-undang yang dari dimunculkannya banyak menimbulkan polemik di masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk dapat mengetahui dan menganalisis terkait dampak pengesahan dari Undang-undang Nomor 6 Tahun 2023 Tentang cipta kerja terhadap permasalahan lingkungan terkhusus di bidang pertambangan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu yuridis normatif. Hasil dan pembahasan UU nomor 6 tahun 202$ tentang cipta kerja menimbulkan beberapa perubahan aturan lingkungan hidup dan pertambangan, serta menimbulkan dampak di masyarakat. Kata Kunci: Pengesahan, UU Ciptaker, Permasalahan Lingkungan

Abstract

The government organization responsible for managing, promoting, and supervising the employment sector is the Manpower and Transmigration Office or Disnakertrans. The Manpower and Transmigration Department, which is responsible to the Governor through the SEKDA, is tasked with implementing government policies related to employment and transmigration. This research uses a normative juridical method, namely a method that looks at legal doctrine, principles, norms, and general rules through the lens of literature study and legal research, as well as using interviews and observations. This research discusses the administrative burden borne by the community as well as the effectiveness of work programs offered by the Manpower and Transmigration Office. The programs of the Semarang Regency Manpower and Transmigration Office have been running effectively, although there are still several challenges and obstacles. Apart from that, there is an administrative burden on society, where people with low backgrounds have difficulty accessing social media to search for information related to the Manpower and Transmigration Department.
