Abstract

Dimasa pandemi covid-19 melanda dunia, proses pembelajaran jarak jauh yang dilaksanakan menunjukkan adanya kesenjangan dengan pelaksanaaan proses pembelajaran sebelum adanya pandemi. Selama pandemi, mahasiswa mengalamai berkurangnya rasa motivasi, kelelahan secara fisik maupun mental, hingga kejenuhan kronis dan stress berkepanjangan (Fernandez-Castillo, 2021; Hutauruk & Sidabutar, 2020; Sari, Setiawan, Rajiani, & Muin, 2020).  Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan dukungan sosial dengan burnout akademik pada mahasiswa yang melakukan pembelajaran jarak jauh, Desain penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif korelasional karena bertujuan untuk mencari hubungan dua buah variabel atau lebih (Winarsunu, 2009). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengumpulan data dengan skala sikap model Likert yang terdiri dari 2 angket yaitu dari skala dukungan sosial dan skala burnout akademik. Alat ukur yang digunakan merupakan peneliti konstruksi sendiri dari teori Sarafino (2006) untuk dukungan sosial dan untuk burnout peneliti konstruksi juga dari teori Maslach et al., (2001). Kedua skala tersebut kemudian disebarkan secara daring menggunakan media Google form kepada subjek. Berdasarkan uji korelasi diatas didapatkan hasil nilai signifikansi .002 (p < 0,05) dengan nilai r = -500. Maka dari itu bisa diambil kesimpulan bahwa adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan brunout akademik, Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between self-determination and mathematics learning achievement in high school students in Payakumbuh City. This research uses quantitative methods with correlational quantitative research design. The population in this study were active high school students in Payakumbuh with a total of 73 subjects. Data collection using a scaled questionnaire about self-determination and mathematics learning achievement as seen from the results of semester report cards in mathematics which are prepared based on existing theories. The data were processed using descriptive statistical tectics (mean and SD) and were intended to describe the relationship between two variables. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between self-determination and mathematics learning achievement. r = 0.325; p = 0.005 (p> 0.05) which means that if the higher self-determination, the higher the mathematics learning achievement and conversely, if the lower self-determination, the lower the mathematics learning achievement. The results of this research can be used by schools to understand self-determination and can be used as a reference for developing mathematics learning programs so that students can understand self-determination and have the awareness to increase self-determination to achieve better mathematics learning achievement.
