Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the language patterns contained in the Arabic Linguistic Landscape at the Anshor Assunah Riau Islamic Boarding School. Then find out the party who issued the Linguistic Landscape at the Anshor Assunah Riau Islamic Boarding School, and to find out the functions - Functions of the Arabic Linguistic Landscape at the Anshor Assunah Islamic Boarding School. This research is motivated by the Anshor Assunah Islamic Boarding School which is a place for religious education, as well as a place to study language, especially Arabic. So it cannot be separated from things related to Arabic in the Islamic boarding school environment, including the Linguistic Landscape which is a language visualization and the existence of language in a place. .The method used in this research is the Descriptive-Qualitative Method. . The result of this research is that the researcher obtained data in the form of 43 pictures of Arabic Linguistic Landscapes at the Anshor Assunah Riau Islamic Boarding School, which consists of language patterns, namely Monolingual (Arabic) as many as 11 Landscapes with a percentage of 26%, then Bilingual (Arabic-Indonesian) as many as 22 Landscapes with a percentage of 51%, and also (Arabic-English) as many as 10 Landscapes with a percentage of 23%. Then, there are 33 Landscapes that issued Lingusitic Landscapes from Official Parties (Islamic Boarding Schools), and 10 Landscapes from Non-Official Parties (individuals). Then 41 Landscapes that function Informationally, and 2 Landscapes that function Symbolically. From the research results It can be seen that the Arabic Linguistic Landscape at the Anshor Assunah Islamic Boarding School has many variations in terms of patterns and functions and also the parties who issued the Linguistic Landscape.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas ekspansi Khalifah Hisyam bin Abdul Malik (724–743 M) di Afrika Utara dan pemberontakan Berber yang dipicu kebijakan diskriminatif. Upaya Hisyam memperkuat kekuasaan Umayyah terganggu oleh perlakuan tidak adil dan pajak memberatkan terhadap Berber. Ketidakpuasan ini memuncak dalam pemberontakan besar pada 740 M. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis sejarah dengan studi pustaka, mengkaji sumber primer dan sekunder untuk memahami penyebab konflik, strategi militer, dan dampaknya. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemberontakan Berber dipicu diskriminasi serta kesadaran politik dan militer yang berkembang. Konflik ini melemahkan kontrol Umayyah dan membuka jalan bagi tumbangnya dinasti tersebut. Studi ini menegaskan bahwa kebijakan tidak adil dapat memicu keruntuhan rezim.
