Methods: Case study research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. The data collection technique used in this study was a semi-structured interview. The data analysis used is assisted by the process of data reduction, data presentation and data verification. To measure the validity of this study, researchers used the theory trianggulation technique which compares information from different theoretical points of view. Results: The results showed that the process or dynamics of informant self-acceptance was influenced by self-acceptance, self-adjustment, self-satisfaction, and feelings of friendship with others. In addition, in this study it was found that help from family and people around the informant also affected self-acceptance of the informant. Abstract

Hypertension is a major global health concern linked to heart disease, stroke, and kidney failure, often worsened by inactivity, poor diet, and chronic stress. This study assessed changes in average blood pressure among elderly hypertensive patients before and after PMR therapy. This study applied a basic quantitative approach using a one-group pre-test and post-test design. Thirty elderly people with hypertension were chosen from the Elderly Social Services Home in Turusgede, Rembang, using purposive sampling. The intervention involved progressive muscle relaxation (PMR), which was done three times over one week, with each session lasting 10-15 minutes. Blood pressure was measured before and after the intervention using a sphygmomanometer. Data analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The average age of participants was 66.30 ± 8.10 years, with a 95% confidence interval ranging from 63.27 to 69.33 years. Most of the participants were female, comprising 53.3% of the sample. Before the intervention, the average systolic blood pressure recorded was 143.33 mmHg, which decreased to a median value of 132.67 mmHg following the therapy. Statistical analysis confirmed a significant change between the pre- and post-intervention readings (p = 0.000; α < 0.05). PMR has been shown to effectively lower both systolic and diastolic blood pressure in older adults with hypertension. As a non-drug approach, it provides a straightforward, safe, and easily implementable technique that can be used regularly to aid in controlling blood pressure among the elderly.

Academic anxiety is an emotional reaction or negative state that can disrupt the learning process and affect academic performance. One non-pharmacological intervention that can be used to reduce academic anxiety is butterfly hug therapy. This study aims to determine the effect of butterfly hug therapy on the level of academic anxiety among adolescents females at Islamic Boarding School Jenu Tuban. The research design employed in this study is a quantitative pre-experimental using a one-group pre-post test design approach with a cohort approach. The population in this study consists of 70 adolescents females at Islamic Boarding School Jenu Tuban. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling, resulting in 67 respondents. The instruments used in this study are the academic anxiety questionnaire and the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for butterfly hug therapy. The research results obtained after conducting the Wilcoxon test with a significance level of a ? 0.05 with a p value = 0.000 < 0.05 which means H1 is accepted, namely there is an effect of butterfly hug therapy on the level of academic anxiety in adolescents. Butterfly hug therapy is an effective non-pharmacological intervention proven to reduce academic anxiety levels, which in turn can enhance focus in learning and improve academic performance. From the description above, it can be concluded that butterfly hug therapy has an effect on the level of academic anxiety in female adolescents at the Jenu Tuban Islamic Boarding School
