Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the duties of the General Election Commission ( KPU ) as the organizer of the general elections in accordance with the applicable regulations of Law Number. 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections and various factors that influence them. The type of research used is empirical research conducted at the General Election Commission ( KPU ) of East Java Province.The results of this research conclude that the function of the General Election Commission in creating democratic elections in 2024 is less effective. Even though the level of public participation reached 82%, at the same time invalid ballots reached 8%. There are various factors that influence the effectiveness of the functions of the East Java Province General Election Commission, namely external and internal factors from several locations that are difficult to reach directly and indirectly, quality human resources from General Election Commission of East Java Provincial and public knowledge of elections in general. The recommendation from this research is that the KPU of East Java Provincial should continue to increase synergy between various parties, further improve the quality of human resources, facilities and infrastructure which are still constrained, socialization and voter education so that the General Election Commission of East Java Provincial is able to realize democratic elections. Abstract

Freedom of Learning is one of the new policies in the world of education that has been issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture which is implemented for college students and students. This policy is carried out as a transformation in success in the academic field. Learning difficulties that afflict dyslexic students make educators feel less able to maximize their teaching, so that not a few dyslexic students are always neglected or left behind in classroom learning. Because of this new policy that makes inclusive children allowed to go to public schools, but many public schools actually cannot accept their arrival because of the lack of knowledge or how to understand dyslexic children's learning by educators. So that special assistance is one solution for schools so that the knowledge and interest of dyslexic children continues to increase.

Abstract

Libraries play an important role in determining how the academic climate in schools is formed. To maximize scientific activities, the library is organized as a hierarchical system with many purposes and functions. The main reason why the goals and functions of libraries cannot be implemented effectively is because most of the school libraries in Indonesia currently do not meet the demands, both in terms of convenience and selection of library materials. Therefore, steps must be taken to restore proper library operations. The impact of better library services on the reading interest of SMP Kartini Taman students was one of the topics raised. This project is just one of many that Kampus Merdeka is undertaking as part of the Teaching Campus initiative. The service period in 2023 lasts from February 20 to June 16. Serving at the Junior High School which is located on Jl. Ki Suryo Jati Utara, Kedungturi Village, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency, is the responsibility of our team. Through the implementation of school library management reform initiatives, this program seeks to restore the function of the school library in accordance with its vision and mission. The planning stage (Planning), the organizing stage (Organizing), the implementation stage (Actuating), and the control stage are the first steps in improving the administrative services of the implemented school library. Collecting data in this service is carried out using a qualitative descriptive methodology which includes interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Based on the initiatives made and the findings, the children's enthusiasm for reading in class increased. Thus, efforts to improve library services are ensured to be successful and right on target.

Abstract

Education is essentially the foundation for each individual to develop and shape his personality and social identity. The actions or behaviors include disciplinary violations, plagiarism, cheating, bullying caused by students close to the teacher to the implementation of free schools for students close to the teacher. This study used a quantitative approach. The population in this study was all students from grades I to VI at SDN Rungkut kidul 1/267 Surabaya City as many as 381 students. This sampling uses a random sampling technique, which will later use the Slovin formula obtained 79 people. The results of the calculation F count of 14,768, the variable School Climate of 1,765, the variable of Mental Development of 2,570 and the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0. 626 or 62.6% which means that the contribution to the school climate and mental development of the younger generation who attend SDN Rungkut kidul 1/267 Surabaya City is getting stronger
