Abstract

This research aims to analyze and obtain empirical evidence of the effect of taxpayer awareness, tax knowledge, income, socialization, and tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance in paying Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2) in Bontang City, involving taxpayers of Bontang City as research objects. Data are collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling and analyzed by multiple linear regression processed by SPSS 25. The results of this research exhibit that tax knowledge and socialization have a positive effect on taxpayer compliance. It means that the higher the tax knowledge and socialization, the higher the level of taxpayer compliance in paying PBB-P2 in Bontang City. Meanwhile, taxpayer awareness, income, and tax sanctions do not impact taxpayer compliance. Taxpayer awareness does not encourage taxpayers to be compliant in paying PBB-P2. Taxpayers can still pay PBB-P2 regardless of the level of income and the applicable tax sanctions. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memperoleh bukti empiris pengaruh kesadaran wajib pajak, pengetahuan perpajakan, pendapatan, sosialisasi, dan sanksi pajak terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak dalam membayar PBB-P2 di Kota Bontang. Penelitian ini menggunakan wajib pajak di Kota Bontang sebagai objek penelitian. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 responden. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji analisis regresi linear berganda yang diolah dengan software SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan perpajakan dan sosialisasi berpengaruh positif terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak dalam membayar PBB-P2. Artinya, semakin tinggi pengetahuan dan sosialisasi semakin tinggi tingkat kepatuhan wajib pajak dalam membayar PBB-P2 di Kota Bontang. Sementara, kesadaran wajib pajak, pendapatan, dan sanksi pajak tidak berpengaruh terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak dalam membayar PBB-P2. Kesadaran yang dimiliki wajib pajak tidak mendorong wajib pajak untuk bersikap patuh dalam membayar PBB-P2. Wajib pajak tetap dapat membayar pajak tanpa memperhatikan tinggi rendahnya pendapatan serta adanya sanksi pajak yang berlaku.

Abstract

This research aims to ascertain how Social Media Marketing (SMM) effects consumers decisions to buy Yamaha brand motorbikes at PT. Alfa Scorpii Meulaboh, West Aceh. The participants in this study are consumers of PT. Alfa Scorpii Meulaboh, West Aceh from August to October 2023. To find the sample size using random sampling techniques and selecting samples calculated with the Slovin formula. This study uses employs a quantitative methodology, collecting data through the distribution of questionnaires. In this case, researchers used simple linear regression analysis to find out the results, namely 60.37% of variable Y was explained by variable Alfa Scorpii Meulaboh, West Aceh.
