At first the students were not all well-behaved, but they did not discriminate between one another, the sense of tolerance that existed in the students was very strong, and they respected each other. Of course, from the behavior of the students at the Assalam Islamic Boarding School, there is a figure who is a reflection for them, namely KH. Abdullah Tsabit Thahah he is the figure who plays the most role in guiding and changing the behavior of students at the Assalam Islamic Boarding School. This study discusses the counselor’s personality values at KH. Abdullah Tsabit Thahah in guiding the behavior of students at the Assalam Isla-mic Boarding School. The technique used by KH. Abdullah Thabit Thahah in Guiding Santri. The method used in this study uses qualitative research methods. The data sources that have been obtained and collected are then analyzed descriptively through the technique of writing scientific papers according to the standards set by Ibrahimy University. So that this research is proven to be valid. Based on the results of the study, obtained data explaining that the personality of KH. Abdullah Tsabit Thahah according to the personality that exists in a counselor in general, the techniques and methods he uses in guiding students according to theories so that the behavior of students gradually gets better. Thus, KH. Abdullah Thabit Thahah is a mature figure in personality. KH. Abdullah Tsabit Thahah is a character whose personality is like a counselor and the technique used by him in guiding the behavior of the students of Pondok Pesantren Assalam in accordance with the theory of behavior change in guidance and counseling.

Each individual is required to be able to address and resolve various kinds of problems. However, only a few of the individuals realize that they also need counseling services. The[1]refore, the selection of the teachings of Sufism as an instrument approach is seen as appro[1]priate, because Sufistic thinking which focuses on cleaning the soul in order to get closer to Allah SWT is seen to be much in line with psychology which has been the basis of the coun[1]seling approach. This study aims to describe the values of Sufistic counseling in KH.’s Suluk Book. Ach. Hariri Abdul Adhim, Spirituality Pillar of Ma’had Aly Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Situ[1]bondo. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with the type of hermeneutical research, while the data analysis uses the objectivist hermeneutics cycle of the part-whole li[1]ne from Gadamer. The conclusion of this study is that there are 6 mystical counseling valu[1]es contained in KH. Ach. Hariri Abdul Adhim, Spirituality Pillars of Ma’had Aly Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Situbondo, namely: intelligence (irsyad), patience, purification of the heart, get[1]ting used to deliberations, dhikr, and prayer.

Counselees are individuals who are the main subject in the guidance and counseling program that must be served and prospered. In pesantren culture, the counselee is a santri who has an obligation to study. In order for the knowledge gained to be useful and bring blessings, it is necessary to understand adab in seeking knowledge. One of the books that teaches about adab seeking knowledge that can be used as a reference for students is the book Adab Al-Alim Wal Muta’allim. This study aims to identify the counselee’s ideal personality based on the book of Adab Al-Alim Wal Muta’allim. The research method used is a qualitative approach of the Gadamerian Hermeneutics type which aims to interpret and understand the text in the book Adab Al-Alim Wal Muta’allim. The results of the study found ten ideal counselee personalities that were categorized as personal and interpersonal ideals, personal personality includes the counselee’s ideal personality that relates to himself personally while interpersonal personality includes the counselee’s ideal personality that relates to other people (counselors). The counselee’s ideal personality personally includes: Purifying oneself, Intention to seek the blessing of Allah, Trying as quickly as possible to gain knowledge, Qana’ah, Taking care of oneself, while the counselee’s personal ideal interpersonally includes: Right in choosing a teacher, Obedient, Respect, Patience, Politeness.

The gobak sodor game is a game played in groups, where the group of guards tries to block the attacking group when they want to pass through the game squares. The traditional game Gobak Sodor contains many positive values. The aim of this research is to explore the counseling values contained in the traditional game gobak sodor in Bondowoso Regency. This research uses qualitative research methods with an ethnographic type of research. From the research results, there are counseling values in the traditional game of gobak sodor in Bondowoso Regency, namely: spirituality, kinship, honesty, cooperation, strategy setting, leadership, social care, physical and mental health.

Islamic boarding school as an educational institution is the right choice to realize the biggest go- al because pesantren is a place for students to gain knowledge, both religious and general knowledge. In the pesantren to make teaching and learning activities successful, a kiai is assisted by the head of the room. The purpose of this study was to describe the democratic parenting of the head of the ro- om for the students in the Salafiyah Syafi’iyah Islamic Boarding School Sukorejo Situbondo. This research method uses qualitative research methods using a case study model. This study resulted in the meaning of democratic parenting as a role model for students, namely by providing education to students, providing religious examples, providing examples of good behavior, motivation, guidance, and showing the spirit of spiritualism in their students.
