Abstract

This research aims to apply poster media to increase student’s understanding of science learning at SD Inpres Dhereisa Elementary School. The problem found by researchers was the lack of use of science learning media for student’s, which had an impact on student’s low learning outcomes. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) design. The subjects in this research were 21 grade 5 student’s at SD Inpres Dhereisa. The data collection technique used was an observation sheet on student activities in science learning using posters on human respiratory system materials. The problem found by researchers was the lack of use of science learning media for student’s, which had an impact on student’s low learning outcomes. The results of the research show that there is an increase in student activity in learning science using posters. Student activities that experienced an increase were observing material on the respiratory system in humans using posters, which increased by 24%. Explaining activities increased by 38%, activities responding to and answering questions increased by 34%, activities doing group assignments increased by 28%, and activities presenting group assignments increased by 33% using poster media. Based on student’s activities using poster media, it is proven that poster media can increase student’s understanding of science material

Abstract

High school students still lack knowledge of nutrition issues, so it is necessary to carry out nutrition education with the help of animated video media to attract the attention and motivation of students to learn and apply it. The purpose of this research is to investigate the influence of video animation of nutritional education on knowledge and nutrition intake in high school students. This research is a Pre-Experimental study with a One Group pretest and posttest design. The population in this study is the entire students of the junior high school Citra Bakti of 75 people, with a sample of 34 people selected based on sampling purposive Method of data collection of knowledge with filling questionnaire and data of energy, protein and iron intake with the method of recall 2x24 hours. The results of the study show that there is a significant influence on knowledge, energy intake, proyein and otherwise no effect on consumption of iron

Abstract

Latar belakang dalam pendampingan ini yaitu mengadakan kegiatan atau event yang dapat meningkatkan perhatian peserta didik untuk mengembangkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi yang mereka miliki. Tujuan pendampingan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan perhatian peserta didik dalam mengembangkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi di SD Inpres Dhereisa, Kecamatan Boawae, Kabupaten Nagekeo. Sasaran dalam kegiatan pendampingan ini yaitu semua siswa SD Inpres Dhereisa. Metode pendampingan yang dilakukan yaitu mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kegiatan festival literasi dan numerasi. Hasil pendampingan kegiatan festival literasi dan numerasi yaitu festival literasi dan numerasi mampu memotivasi siswa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi yang dimiliki. Dalam hal literasi dapat meningkatkan minat baca siswa, menulis, dan memahami bacaan. Sedangkan untuk numerasi siswa dapat mengenal angka dan mengasah kemampuan berhitung. Dari hasil pelaksanaan dan pendampingan kegiatan festival literasi numerasi pada beberapa mata lomba menjadi kegiatan yang penting dilaksanakan dalam memotivasi siswa dan memberikan peluang bagi siswa untuk berkreativitas pada kegiatan literasi dan numerasi. Hasil kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi praktik baik yang dapat direplikasi di sekolah lain dalam rangka mendukung gerakan literasi nasional.
