Abstract

The Payakumbuh City Agriculture Service is one of the regional apparatus organizations which plays a role in providing direct services to the farming community, which is responsible for increasing the production of agricultural products which are useful for food supply as well as in terms of improving the welfare of farmers. So we need professional, high-performance, competent officials who behave in a way that is oriented towards excellent service in order to realize good governance. Good service performance provided by ASN to the Department of Agriculture will contribute to achieving community satisfaction which plays an important role in the existence of public service organizations. For this reason, research needs to be carried out in terms of predicting which ASNs are performing and which are not performing at the Payakumbuh City Agriculture Service so that it can be the basis for making future decisions about what will be done to improve the performance of these ASN. The samples used in this research were 76 samples consisting of ASN at the Payakumbuh City Agriculture Service. Where there are 6 (six) independent variables and from the results of data processing there are 2 (two) significant variables, namely leadership and discipline.
