Abstract

Purpose: The use of social media can also help complete work, especially advancing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the Sidoarjo area. This community service activity is carried out to promote local products and also increase the knowledge and skills of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) so that they are able to increase product sales and marketing using social media platforms, especially Instagram accounts. Methodology: This activity goes through three stages: observation carried out with discussion, preparation carried out by providing materials, and implementation carried out with assistance with product photos and social media management. Results: The result of this service is to provide benefits and knowledge regarding the importance of social media and product photos in increasing sales for MSMEs. Applications/Originality/Value: What was obtained after carrying out this activity was that Kupang Jaya MSMEs and Sustainable Kitchens had catalog photos and social media as a forum for promoting sales.

Abstract

Penerapan konsep kadaster kelautan diharapkan dapat menghasilkan data dan informasi yang lengkap, akurat, dan seragam sehingga  data daninformasi dapat digunakan untuk saling berbagi pakai dan dirubah secara cepat (Syarif 2012). Adagium abad ketujuhbelas yang menyatakan ruang laut adalah kepunyaan bersama, tersedia untuk semua tetapi tidak untuk dimiliki. Negara mengatur penguasaannya kepada pihak lain (baik itu perseorangan atau swasta) dalam bentuk izin. Saat ini proses pendaftaran izin lokasi oleh KKP dilaksanakan secara offline. Penelitian ini akan merancang sebuah Website Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) pendaftaran izin lokasi pemanfaatan ruang laut. Lokasi penelitian berada pada Pulau Maratua, Kecamatan Maratua, Kabupaten Berau, Kalimantan Timur yaitu pada koordinat 2 04’11,38” - 2 20’11,10”LU dan 118 31’48,93”-118 45’29,56”BT. Data spasial yang digunakan adalah peta dasar kadaster laut, rencana zonasi dan eksisting pemanfaatan ruang laut. RPP dan RAPERMEN izin lokasi digunakan untuk membangun sistem pendaftaran berbasis WebGIS. Implementasi basis data menggunakan PostgreSQL 9.0 dan Google Maps API sebagai penampil peta. Website dapat diakses secara online pada http://www.kadasterlautmaratua.com sehingga proses pendaftaran izin lokasi dapat dilaksanakan secara online. Dari hasil uji kebergunaan beerdasarkan 30 responden menunjukkan persentase 86.00 %. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka website termasuk kategori sangat layak sesuai dengan tabel Kategori Penilaian Usability dengan rentang nilai 81%-100%.

Abstract

Education is one of the main pillars in developing quality human resources. To ensure equal access to education, the government has launched various scholarship programs. However, the management and distribution of scholarships often face challenges in terms of accurate data collection and spatial distribution analysis. This study aims to map the distribution of scholarship recipients in Jambi Province using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach with QGIS software. The research uses spatial data in the form of administrative boundaries of Jambi Province and non-spatial data on the number of scholarship recipients per district/city obtained from the JDAC Jambi official website. The data were processed using attribute joining, classification with the Natural Breaks (Jenks) method, and visualization through a choropleth map. The results show that scholarship recipients are unevenly distributed, with higher concentrations in urban and densely populated areas such as Jambi City and Muaro Jambi Regency, while regions like Tebo and Sarolangun have relatively low numbers. This indicates the influence of population density, availability of higher education institutions, and information accessibility on scholarship distribution. The use of QGIS proved effective in presenting spatial data visually and supporting data-driven policymaking. The study recommends that local governments utilize spatial analysis in scholarship distribution planning to enhance equity and program effectiveness.

Abstract

Along with the arrival of foreign colors from various countries to the city of Surabaya, causing smuggling. In population documents about Certificate of Residence (SKTT) of Foreigners is very necessary now to know that it is legal or illegal if you want to live in Surabaya. So the purpose of this research is to find out the supervision of the implementation of SKTT Foreigners who come and will settle in the city of Surabaya, so that there is no smuggling or illegal activities. Descriptive qualitative approach with the intention of providing a comprehensive picture with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation. Getting new findings, namely on the role of the Population and Civil Registration Office in Supervising the Implementation of SKTT Foreigners in Surabaya City from the three sub-focuses in terms of setting work standards, there are still obstacles in delivering information so that there was unclear information. However, the measurement of work results and corrective actions are optimal enough to provide services and preventive efforts so that nothing untoward happens in the future.

Abstract

Vendor selection at PT. Manufaktur Digital Jaya is still prone to subjectivity and bias that focuses on price, which risks causing production bottlenecks and quality decline. This decision is a complex Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) problem and requires an objective and structured assessment. This research aims to design a Decision Support System (DSS) to determine the best vendor at PT. Manufaktur Digital Jaya, using a combination of the Analytical Hierarchy Process  (AHP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. The AHP analysis was validated using Expert Choice software and the TOPSIS calculations were performed with Microsoft Excel. The AHP method is used to determine the priority weights of the assessment criteria, while TOPSIS is used to rank the vendor alternatives based on their closeness to the ideal solution. Five main criteria were established, covering Product Quality (C1), Unit Price (C2), Delivery Accuracy (C3), Service Capacity (C4), and Reputation (C5). The results of the AHP analysis show that Product Quality (C1) and Service Capacity (C4) are the criteria with the highest weights, reflecting the company's strategic priority on quality and long-term support.

Abstract

Data is an essential asset that must be protected due to its strategic role in maintaining the continuity of information systems. Therefore, data security becomes a crucial aspect in information management. One of the approaches to ensure data security is through the application of cryptographic techniques. Two commonly used classical cryptographic algorithms are the Rail Fence Cipher and the Vigenere Cipher. However, the use of a single algorithm has weaknesses, as it remains vulnerable to brute-force attacks. This study aims to combine two cryptographic methods, namely the transposition technique (Rail Fence) and the substitution technique (Vigenere), to enhance resistance against brute force attacks. The research employs an experimental method by implementing the combined algorithms using the Python programming language. Testing was conducted on three scenarios: encryption using Rail Fence, Vigenere, and their combination. The results show that the combined algorithm increases key space and produces more complex character distribution patterns, thereby improving security against brute-force attacks.

Abstract

The quality of public service is a crucial factor for companies such as the Regional Water Company. The main challenges often faced are the slow handling of customer complaints, difficulty in accessing billing information, and the bureaucratic process of new connection registration. This research aims to design and build an integrated web and mobile-based customer service information system. The research method used is the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The result of this research is the customer service application, which consists of three platforms: (1) A back office web for administrators, supervisors, and superadmins to manage master data, monitor, and delegate complaints and reports; (2) An Android Mobile Application for Customers, featuring online complaints, complaint tracking, new connection registration, bill checking, self-service meter reading, and news information; (3) An Android Mobile Application for Field Officers, which functions to receive and update the status of complaint work orders. The implementation of this system has successfully transformed manual business processes into digital ones, thereby increasing response speed, data transparency, and customer satisfaction one of them is PERUMDA Air Minum Tirta Mayang.
