Abstract

The information system (website) for online leave services (SIMPEL-COI) is a form of service within agencies created by the Jambi City Transportation Service to make it easier for employees to take leave without the need to go through a long process (implementation, management, calculation and replacement of leave) and to help parties those in the UMPEG field (general and staffing) to reduce their workload. The purpose of this study was to measure the quality of the information system for online leave services (SIMPEL-COI) using 3 dimensions of webqual 4.0 namely usability, information quality and service interaction based on user satisfaction. This is based on the problems that arise, namely the unattractive UI/UX appearance, difficulty in use and quality testing that has never been done so that the level of success and suitability based on user satisfaction is unknown. Data collection in this study was carried out using a questionnaire made via Google form with instrument measurements using a Likert scale which was distributed online for one week through communication media. The research sample used in this study was 67 respondents and processed using SPSS version 26 so that the results of the validity test, reliability test, T test, F test and R square test were obtained which became a significant reference or measurement guideline. The results of testing the dimensions used in this study, namely Usability, Information Quality, Service Interaction, have insignificant values so that it can be said that they do not have good quality because user satisfaction has not been fulfilled with a percentage of 0.05%.

Abstract

El Mundo Junior High School in Jambi City is currently improving the quality of service in the teaching category and realizes how important the application of technology is in data and information management, especially in the teacher performance assessment system. This occurs because of a problem, namely the assessment of teacher performance is currently carried out using a paper based method and the results will be recapitulated to the Microsoft Excel application provided by the education authorities. So this is prone to basic errors such as scattered files, wrong input or easily damaged and the data management process to become information is relatively slow and cannot be known transparently. The purpose of this research is to create a teacher performance assessment application so that it helps schools in managing data and becomes the basis for information for making decisions. Data collection was carried out by interviewing the school. In addition, the system development method used is a waterfall with UML (Unified Modeling Language) and Adobe XD tools to design a user interface and use the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework. The output of this research is a web-based teacher performance assessment application at El Mundo Junior High School, Jambi City.

Abstract

Teknologi berbasis digital berupa media sosial menjadi sorotan utama sehinggadapat dijadikan sebagai media promosi untuk mencari peluang keuntungan bagi parapelaku ekonomi kreatif. Desa Muara Pijoan adalah desa yang terletak di KecamatanJambi Luar Kota, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Provinsi Jambi memiliki potensi pariwisatakeindahan alam dan keragaman budaya yang dapat menjadi tren pariwisatamembutuhkan pengelolaan yang baik dan perlu memperhatikan aspek pemasarandanpromosi terutama dalam bentuk digital untuk meningkatkan visibilitas dan dayatarikwisata desa mereka di platform social media agar dapat menjadi desa wisata yang sesuai dengan “Kemenparekraf”. Untuk mewujudkan hal tersebut, workshop atau pelatihan ini menjadi wadah bagi pihak yang masih kurang familiar dengan teknologi digital terutama digital branding untuk membangun citra brand secara online di media social sehingga dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan produktivitas desa wisata.

Abstract

Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Negeri 3 Kota Jambi merupakan lembaga pendidikan tingkat menengah pertama di Kota Jambi yang terus berupaya meningkatkan kualitas layanan akademik dan administrasi. Namun, penerapan sistem informasi di madrasah ini masih bersifat parsial dan belum sepenuhnya terintegrasi dengan kebutuhan strategis organisasi. Hal ini mengakibatkan ketidakefisienan dalam pengelolaan data dan penentuan kebijakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang arsitektur enterprise yang dapat mengintegrasikan sistem informasi yang ada dan menyelaraskannya dengan tujuan operasional sekolah, menggunakan framework TOGAF ADM 9.2 sebagai metodelogi penelitian. Riset ini menerapkan urutan fase dalam metode ADM TOGAF, yang mencakup fase Preliminary Phase, Architecture Vision, Business Architecture, Information Systems Architecture,dan Technology Architecture. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah blueprint arsitektur yang komprehensif, yang mencakup desain entitas data, fungsi bisnis, serta aplikasi yang diusulkan, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas operasional sekolah. Dengan rancangan arsitektur ini, MTs Negeri 3 Kota Jambi dapat memiliki landasan yang lebih kuat dalam mengembangkan sistem yang lebih terstruktur, terintegrasi, dan dapat mendukung pertumbuhan serta inovasi di masa depan.

Abstract

Education is one of the main pillars in developing quality human resources. To ensure equal access to education, the government has launched various scholarship programs. However, the management and distribution of scholarships often face challenges in terms of accurate data collection and spatial distribution analysis. This study aims to map the distribution of scholarship recipients in Jambi Province using a Geographic Information System (GIS) approach with QGIS software. The research uses spatial data in the form of administrative boundaries of Jambi Province and non-spatial data on the number of scholarship recipients per district/city obtained from the JDAC Jambi official website. The data were processed using attribute joining, classification with the Natural Breaks (Jenks) method, and visualization through a choropleth map. The results show that scholarship recipients are unevenly distributed, with higher concentrations in urban and densely populated areas such as Jambi City and Muaro Jambi Regency, while regions like Tebo and Sarolangun have relatively low numbers. This indicates the influence of population density, availability of higher education institutions, and information accessibility on scholarship distribution. The use of QGIS proved effective in presenting spatial data visually and supporting data-driven policymaking. The study recommends that local governments utilize spatial analysis in scholarship distribution planning to enhance equity and program effectiveness.

Abstract

Mama Tika's Pempek Shop is one of the places that is busy with buyers, making the service busy, especially in the payment section. The problems found based on observations and interviews were that there were queues during the payment process at the cashier due to the recording of order notes, recording of sales results was still done in a ledger so it took quite a long time to record based on the type ordered, purchases still used menu leaflets and recorded in an order receipt by the waiter, errors during the payment transaction process can occur due to calculations using a calculator and this causes complaints from consumers if there is a discrepancy in the payment amount with what the consumer ordered, because there is no printed proof of the transaction (receipt) available. can be given to consumers and the supply of raw materials in making pempek is not controlled so that when the consumer orders one of the orders the raw materials are not available in the supply area (warehouse). The aim of this research is to produce a payment information system at the Mama Tika Pempek Shop using the Laravel framework with Midtrans payment gateway so that the subsequent payment system becomes easier, faster and more efficient. The research results obtained are that the system created can record payment transactions, sales, manage product stock and print reports related to sales data by the cashier. Owners can also access the system to monitor transaction processes and manage user data because the systems are integrated with each other. Each part of the system has been tested to ensure the success of the system in carrying out its functionality.

Abstract

Ketersedian informasi yang cepat, tepat dan akurat merupakan faktor penting dalam sektor pelayanan publik termasuk pemerintah baik pusat maupun daerah. Termasuk dengan Dinas Perhubungan Kota Jambi yang telah menerapkan penggunaan perangkat lunak untuk memproses data menjadi informasi . Dalam pelaksanaanya masih terdapat beberapa kendala terhadap sumber daya manusia yang ada seperti keterlambatan dan kurangnya pengetahuan terkait teknologi informasi terutama dalam penggunaan aplikasi perkantoran. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan staf dapat meningkatan keterampilan dalam menggunakan aplikasi perkantoran untuk mendapatkan informasi yang cepat dan akurat.

Abstract

Pada penelitian sebelumnya didapatkan hasil perhitungan usability terhadap aplikasi e-Learning Universitas X menggunakan system usability testing sebesar 68.97 yang berarti aplikasi yang digunakan saat ini masih bisa diterima penggunaannya oleh pengguna namun bersifat marginal sehingga perlu adanya pengembangan sistem. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka penulis mengajukan sebuah penelitian untuk mengembangkan sistem e-learning yang ada saat ini dengan menggunakan gamifikasi. Metodelogi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah throw away prototyping, yang pada tahap analisisisnya menggunakan metode penyebaran kuesioner serta analisa sentimen. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka gamifikasi layak untuk diterapkan pada e-Learning Universitas X, nilai system usabilty scale gamifikasi dan e-Learning yang sama yaitu 72.5, namun mahasiswa memiliki keinginan untuk mencoba penerapan prototipe.

Abstract

The Betel nut is a plantation commodity with significant economic potential, particularly as an export product. However, marketing activities among farmers and traders still face obstacles, such as limited access to price information, less than optimal promotions, and a narrow distribution network. This study aims to design and develop a web-based betel nut marketing information system that can support the promotion and transaction process. The system development method used refers to the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model, namely the waterfall, starting from user needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. This system was created using the PHP programming language with a MySQL database, and is equipped with key features such as product data management, price recording, information publication and communication media between farmers and traders, as well as a payment gateway feature. Testing results using the black box testing approach showed that the system can function according to the design. With this information system, it is expected that betel nut marketing will be more structured, market access will be wider, and farmers and traders will obtain a more competitive selling price.
