Abstract

Research works were carried out from 2012 – 2015 to investigate success of controlling broadleaved weed and trees of V.nilotica and planting desired grasses The tretments were combined 3 factors. Factor 1, was the way to apply triclopyr formulated as GARLON 670 EC to control trees of V.nilotica, (1). by brushing the solution of 1% GARLON 670 EC dissolved in diesel oil on the stump of V.nilotica after cutting using a chainsaw, and by (2). brushing at the base of intact standing tree of V. nilotica, from above the ground up to 30 cm height. Factor 2, was grasses (1). Dichanthium caricosum, and (2). Polytrias amaura planted ad 1 x 1 m2. Factor 3 was fertilizer, (1) planted grasses were fertilized with compost derived from goat feces at 100 gr/ single chunk planted, and (2) without fertilizer. The results indicated that grass grew better under the treatment of killing V.nilotica by cutting and brushing with 1% GARLON 670 EC dissolved in diesel oil, while fertilizing D.caricosum was much better to than of P.amaura.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan pengembangan kompetensi pengelola yang sesuai dengan rumusan model wisata edukasi di BPLHK Bogor. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif melalui studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 86% responden sangat mendukung pemanfaatan Hutan Diklat Rumpin sebagai lokasi wisata edukasi. Pengunjung dan pengelola menyatakan bahwa Hutan Diklat Rumpin sesuai untuk dijadikan wisata edukasi karena adanya objek/atraksi wisata dan memiliki fasilitas yang cukup memadai. Berdasarkan hasil kuesioner dan wawancara, sebanyak 14% responden berpersepsi kurang positif terkait pemanfaatan Hutan Diklat Rumpin sebagai lokasi wisata edukasi, dengan alasan kurang memadai dalam hal sarana transportasi, fasilitas, sarana komunikasi, serta ketersediaan petunjuk/ informasi/media. Dari hasil analisis supply demand, model wisata edukasi yang dikembangkan adalah terkait konten dan kemasan wisata edukasi, promosi dan pemasaran, serta pelayanan wisata edukasi. Pengembangan materi konten wisata edukasi meliputi atraksi outbond, minizoo dan taman bermain. Materi terkait promosi dan pemasaran wisata edukasi yaitu pengelolaan medsos facebook, Instagram, twitter, dengan memperhatikan aspek kontinyuitas dalam membuat/memperkaya konten pada sosial media. Pengembangan materi pelayanan terkait fisik, keandalan, empati, jaminan dan kepastian serta pelayanan kerjasama pengelolaan. Metode pengembangan kompetensi yang dibutuhkan pengelola yaitu secara klasikal dan non klasikal, dengan pendekatan; pelatihan, sosialisasi, magang, dan studi banding.Kata Kunci : Pengembangan Kompetensi, Model, Wisata Edukasi                                                                    ABSTRACTThis research aims to formulate the development of management competencies that align with the educational tourism model at BPLHK Bogor. The approach in this study is qualitative with a descriptive method through case studies. The results indicate that 86% of respondents strongly support the utilization of the Rumpin Training Forest as an educational tourism location. Visitors and managers state that the Rumpin Training Forest is suitable for educational tourism due to the presence of tourist objects/attractions and adequate facilities. Meanwhile, 14% have a less positive perception, as BPLHK Bogor is deemed insufficient in terms of transportation facilities, amenities, communication means, and the availability of signs/information/media. From the supply-demand analysis, the developed educational tourism model is related to the content and packaging of educational tourism, promotion and marketing, as well as educational tourism services. The development of educational tourism content materials includes outbound attractions, minizoos and playgrounds. Materials related to the promotion and marketing of educational tourism are the management of social media Facebook, Instagram, twitter, by paying attention to the aspect of continuity in creating/enriching content on social media. Development of service materials related to physicality, reliability, empathy, assurance and certainty as well as management cooperation services. The competency development methods needed by managers are classical and non-classical, with the approach; training, socialization, internships, and comparative studies.Keyword: Competency Development, Model, Educational Tourism
