Abstract

The interest of young generation towards the agricultural sector and agriculture regeneration in Indonesia is declining. Therefore, this program exists to increase and develop an awareness of the needs of actors in the agricultural sector by inviting 4th-grade students of SDN Kalianyar 2 to care about the environment, as well as improving their education about agriculture. The methods of learning used were the quantum learning method which are ways for students to learn while having fun. Based on the activities that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the following four things, can raise a sense of concern for the environment and agriculture in students at SDN Kalianyar 2, this activity gets a positive response from all school parties, both from teachers and students.

Abstract

The optimization of Jamnapari manure in Kalianyar Village, Bondowoso Regency has not been considered to be optimal because of the lack of knowledge of farmers regarding its management. This becomes a problem itself as Jamnapari manure has a decent potential to be utilized as compost. Additionally, the thickhead plant is widely spread around Kalianyar Village, but it is also known as weeds by the villagers. The aim of this program is to analyze the effectiveness of the socialization of Jamnapari manure and thickhead utilization as the base materials of compost in Kalianyar Village, Ijen District, Bondowoso Regency. The respondents were chosen through a random sampling method and the t-test is used as the methodology in this research. After the results were proven to be significant, the measurement of socialization effectiveness (ES), which can be measured from the score pretest and post-test obtained by the farmers, was conducted with 11 respondents. Through used method, it was found that the obtained effectiveness value of 81.8% which gives evidence that this program was running very effectively due to the score increase on the post-test compared to the pretest’s score after the demonstration and socialization.

Abstract

The study recognized and identified that MSMEs in the village faced challenges due to limited knowledge about technological developments and business licensing, resulting in a lack of Business Identification Number (BIN) among business owners. This program aims to educate Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) about the importance of having a BIN and to help and assist them in obtaining this essential legal credential. Participants were guided through the steps of registering and inputting their personal data to receive a BIN. Which consisted of observation, socialization sessions, and practical assistance in obtaining BINs, also conducting a participant satisfaction rete index survey. Through this program, it is helped MSMEs overcome legal obstacles to access government programs and funding, and improve their business networks or markets. Which will result a better understanding of BINs importance, which enhanced their knowledge and professionalism in running their businesses. The participant satisfaction data from the socialization indicates an average score of 4.3, concluding that participants are satisfied with the implemented program.
