Abstract

The implementation of the Weighted Product (WP) method in developing cognitive potential for determining study programs in admitting new students to class XII students at SMK Bintang Nusantara is an important research topic in the context of increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the process of admitting new students. The purpose of this research is to identify students' cognitive potential and use the WP method as an assessment tool that can help determine the study program that best suits their potential. The literature review describes theories related to the development of cognitive potential, determining study programs, and WP methods. This research method involves identifying variables, developing rating scales, collecting data, calculating weights and rankings, assessing study programs, evaluating and analyzing, as well as validating and correcting. Data were obtained through questionnaires, cognitive potential tests, and structured interviews with class XII students at Bintang Nusantara Vocational School. This research has benefits in increasing the efficiency and accuracy of the new student admissions process and helping class XII students at Bintang Nusantara Vocational School in choosing study programs that suit their cognitive potential. It is hoped that the implementation of this WP method can make a positive contribution to the development of students' cognitive potential and increase their satisfaction with the chosen study program.

Abstract

Based on the National Cyber ​​and Crypto Agency (BSSN) (CNN Indonesia, 2022.), in 2022 more than 700 million cyber attacks will occur in Indonesia which are dominated by ransomware or malware with the mode of asking for ransom, then web defacement attacks or hacking methods that change website content, for example changing the layout, fonts, displaying advertisements, and even changing the entire content of the website, this hacking goes further and even steals data. Information security is the protection of all types of information resources from misuse by parties. who have no authority to manage it. The aim of creating an information security system is to prevent misuse of information by parties who have no interest or have no right to manage the information. Individual data needs to be kept secure so that third parties who do not have the right to know cannot access it, whether intentionally or not (for example, a service user who overhears a conversation between two staff members about the personal lives of other service users.Information security protects sensitive information from unauthorized activities, including inspection, modification, recording and any interference or destruction.The aim is to ensure the security and privacy of important data such as customer account details, financial data, or assets. intellectual. Abstract

Pemilihan jurusan kuliah merupakan keputusan penting bagi siswa SMA, khususnya di SMAN 1 Wadaslintang, namun seringkali masih dilakukan tanpa pertimbangan yang objektif. Banyak siswa mengalami kebingungan karena hanya mengandalkan saran orang lain atau mengikuti tren, sehingga berisiko salah jurusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem pendukung keputusan berbasis website yang dapat membantu siswa dalam menentukan jurusan di Fakultas Ilmu Komputer sesuai dengan minat, bakat, dan kemampuan mereka. Metode yang digunakan adalah Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), yang mampu menghitung bobot kriteria melalui perbandingan berpasangan dan memeriksa konsistensi hasil penilaian. Sistem ini dikembangkan menggunakan PHP dan MySQL dengan pengujian Black Box dan White Box untuk memastikan fungsionalitas dan logika sistem berjalan dengan baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem dapat memberikan rekomendasi jurusan secara tepat berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan, dengan tingkat validitas yang dinilai sangat baik oleh pengguna. Dengan demikian, sistem ini mampu menjadi alat bantu yang efektif dalam proses pemilihan jurusan, sehingga diharapkan dapat mengurangi risiko kesalahan pemilihan jurusan dan meningkatkan keberhasilan akademik siswa
