Abstract

Abstract

The effectiveness of internal government supervision remains a crucial issue, as manual reporting systems often delay case detection and lack risk prioritization. Previous studies have mainly focused on reporting mechanisms without integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) for adaptive data analysis. This research formulates how AI integration in digital whistleblowing systems can enhance the effectiveness and responsiveness of internal supervision. This is a system development study with a locus in local government. Data were obtained through simulation of 1,000 anonymized supervision reports, analyzed using Natural Language Processing and machine learning techniques. The results show an 86% accuracy in high-risk report classification and a 71% reduction in detection time. These findings reveal novelty in using AI for automated report triage. The study recommends a gradual implementation of such systems in regional inspectorates to strengthen transparency and accountability in local government.

Abstract

The proper selection of suppliers is a crucial factor in the manufacturing industry as it significantly influences production efficiency and the quality of final products. PT Techno Wood Indonesia, a company engaged in the production of decorative panels, highly depends on high-quality plywood as its main raw material. This study applies the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to determine the best plywood supplier based on relevant criteria. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires distributed to the Purchasing/Procurement staff, supported by secondary data from company documents and literature. The results indicate four main criteria with the following weights: Performance (0.537), Quality (0.271), Cost (0.131), and Responsiveness (0.061). From the global priority synthesis, PT Sumitomo Forestry ranked first with a weight of 0.476, followed by PT SMB Gobel Indonesia (0.362) and PT Itochu Indonesia IDR (0.162). These findings highlight that PT Techno Wood Indonesia prioritizes performance and quality over cost and responsiveness, with PT Sumitomo Forestry identified as the primary plywood supplier.

Abstract

Arabic language learning in early childhood education plays a crucial role in introducing linguistic and religious literacy from an early stage. However, its implementation in Islamic early childhood institutions often faces challenges related to instructional methods, teacher competence, and limited learning resources. This study aims to analyze the implementation model of Arabic language learning within an Islamic early childhood education context. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation analysis. The findings indicate that Arabic language learning is implemented through play-based and contextual approaches, including singing, role-playing, and thematic vocabulary integration. The use of visual and audiovisual media, such as flashcards and animated videos, enhances children's engagement and comprehension. In addition to qualitative insights, supporting documentation of learning outcomes suggests an observable improvement in students’ language abilities over the course of instruction, reflected in classroom-based assessments. The study further identifies supporting factors such as students’ motivation and teacher creativity, alongside challenges including time constraints, varying learner abilities, and limited parental involvement. Based on these findings, the study proposes an integrative pedagogical model that combines play-based learning, contextual learning, and principles of natural language acquisition to support more effective Arabic language learning in early childhood education within Islamic settings.

Abstract

Digital transformation has transformed various aspects of people’s lives, yet not all groups have been able to adapt effectively, particularly older adults who are vulnerable to digital exclusion. This study aims to examine the forms of the digital divide among older adults and the role of Generation Z as mediators in bridging access to digital services. The method employed is a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review, analysing various relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that the digital divide among the elderly is multidimensional, encompassing limited access to technology, low digital literacy, limited technical skills, information gaps, psychological factors, and digital service designs that are not yet inclusive. Furthermore, social factors such as limited social networks also reinforce digital exclusion among older adults. In this context, Generation Z plays a crucial role as mediators who not only provide technical assistance but also act as technology interpreters, facilitators of informal learning, and providers of psychological support. Interactions between older adults and Generation Z reflect the role of social capital in enhancing digital inclusion through trust and interpersonal relationships. Therefore, intergenerational collaboration is a key strategy in creating an inclusive digital transformation and empowering older adults to adapt independently in the digital age.
