Abstract

A house is a basic human need as a place of activity, shelter, and rest. One of the problems that is often overlooked in house construction is the mismatch or slope in the size of the room. Wall misalignment due to inaccurate measurements can affect building comfort and safety. This research uses technological advances in room slope measurement with trigonometric and numerical methods. The results show that the trigonometric and numerical methods have precision, recall, and accuracy rates reaching 100%. This method is effective and reliable for measuring the slope based on the captured digital image, ensuring that the measurements taken are true and accurate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas pemanfaatan Google Maps API untuk pemetaan koordinat baliho di Provinsi Bengkulu. Pemasangan baliho yang semakin meningkat membutuhkan sistem pendataan yang lebih akurat agar pengelolaannya lebih efektif. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, penelitian ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data spasial terkait lokasi, ukuran, tipe, bentuk, kondisi, serta status legalitas baliho. Data dikumpulkan melalui fitur penandaan lokasi pada Google Maps, yang memungkinkan akuisisi titik koordinat secara presisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persebaran baliho cenderung terkonsentrasi di titik-titik strategis, seperti jalan utama dan area publik, dengan kondisi yang bervariasi dari baik hingga rusak berat. Beberapa baliho juga ditemukan dalam keadaan kosong tanpa isi. Implementasi Google Maps API terbukti efektif dalam membantu visualisasi lokasi baliho secara lebih sistematis dan real-time, yang dapat mendukung perencanaan tata ruang dan pengelolaan iklan luar ruang di Bengkulu. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi pemerintah daerah dan pengiklan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi serta regulasi pemasangan baliho. This research discusses the use of the Google Maps API for mapping billboard coordinates in Bengkulu Province. The increasing number of advertisements requires a more accurate data collection system so that management is more effective. Using a quantitative approach, this research collects and analyzes spatial data related to the location, size, type, shape, condition and legal status of advertisements. Data is collected through the location tagging feature in Google Maps, which allows precise coordinates to be obtained. The research results show that the distribution of billboards tends to be concentrated at strategic points, such as main roads and public places, with conditions varying from good to badly damaged. Several billboards were also found empty without any content. The implementation of the Google Maps API has proven effective in helping to visualize advertising locations more systematically and in real-time so that it can support spatial planning and management of outdoor advertising in Bengkulu. It is hoped that this research can become a reference for local governments and advertisers in improving the efficiency and regulations of advertising.
