Abstract

The lack of entrepreneurial character in the community of Seuneubok Village, Aceh, is a problem and challenge for the team implementing community service activities, thus it considered necessary to empower PKK members consisting of housewives through providing counseling and training in making woven pandan mats and involving the community of Seuneubok Village, Aceh. The craft of woven pandan mats is the business of PKK women in Seuneubok Village, Aceh, which is a traditional commercial product that needs marketing strategies improvement to increase its high economic value. This activity aimed to improve entrepreneurial skills and improve the family economy. This activity was carried out by PKK members through the PKM program which was held on April 20 to May 28, 2024. Methods for implementing activities included friendly meetings, raw material surveys, visits and interviews, providing innovative input, and training in making woven pandan mats. This activity is expected to make a positive contribution to the welfare of families in Seuneubok Village, Aceh. The evaluation was carried out to measure the increase in participants' knowledge and skills, as well as the impact on the family economy. It is hoped that the results of this service can be an inspiring example for developing creative economic potential in other rural areas.

Abstract

Water environmental pollution has become an urgent global concern, requiring in-depth understanding and appropriate solutions to address its adverse impacts. In the educational context, it is important for students to have a strong science literacy to be able to understand and participate in environmental protection efforts. One of the proposed approaches to improving students’ understanding of water environmental pollution is to use Android-based E-modules in biology learning. This method of research uses a systematic literature review (SLR). The SLR method is carried out in three stages so that it can obtain a combination of literature study appropriate and accurate to the research problem to be raised. The results of the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of developing Android-based E-modules in improving student science literacy in the context of biological learning about water pollution. Through a systematic approach, the study analyses a variety of relevant literary studies to draw strong conclusions about the potential of e-modules in facilitating a deeper understanding of scientific concepts related to water environmental pollution to enhance student involvement in science learning and literacy.

Abstract

Kesesuaian gaya mengajar dosen dengan gaya belajar mahasiswa memengaruhi keberhasilan belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis diferensiasi gaya belajar terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Kebencanaan dan Lingkungan. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan populasi seluruh mahasiswa semester ganjil 2025/2026, dan sampel 90 mahasiswa yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Data hasil belajar dianalisis menggunakan uji t, sedangkan data gaya belajar dijelaskan secara deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari instrumen tes (pre tes dan post tes) dan angket gaya belajar. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ada tiga gaya belajar yang dominan, yaitu visual, auditori, dan kinestetik. Informasi tersebut digunakan untuk menentukan jenis proyek pada kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PjBL berbasis diferensiasi gaya belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa, dengan nilai t hitung = 6,71. Disimpulkan bahwa penerapan PjBL berdiferensiasi berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan mengukur pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuan psikomotorik serta afektif mahasiswa. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model based on learning style differentiation on student learning outcomes in the Disaster and Environment course. The study used a quasi-experimental method with a population of all students in the odd semester of 2025/2026, and a sample of 90 students selected through purposive sampling. Learning outcome data were analyzed using a t-test, while learning style data were explained descriptively. The analysis results showed that there were three dominant learning styles, namely visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. This information was used to determine the type of project in the experimental class. The results showed that PjBL based on learning style differentiation had a positive effect on student learning outcomes (t score=6.71). It was concluded that the implementation of differentiated PjBL had an effect on learning outcomes. Further research is recommended to measure its effect on students' psychomotor and affective abilities.
