Abstract

Good and essensial nutrition has influence for children's growth and development. Infant and young children's nutritional needs will fulfilled by providing appropriate nutrition and appropriate feeding stages. IYCF requires skills. For this reason, it is necessary to provide knowledge and training related to IYCF, especially for mothers, prospective mothers, and cadres. The community in Sepan Lebang Village has never received training regarding IYCF. This activity aims to increase mothers' knowledge and skills about IYCF. This activity began with providing education about IYCF which was attended by 37 mothers, and IYCF training which was attended by 15 mothers. The training was carried out twice with material related to breast milk (how to express and practice giving breastfeeding), material related to complementary feeding (the practice of preparing menus according to the stages of child feeding), feedback, and evaluation of the practice of giving breastfeeding and complementary feeding. The results of this activity show that from the knowledge aspect, mothers have knowledge about IYCF in improving children's quality of life. From the skills aspect, the majority of mothers are already skilled in carrying out the ability to practice providing good and correct positions and attachments, but a small number of mothers still need to do a lot of practice to improve these practical skills. For menu preparation skills, all participants can prepare menus properly and correctly according to the stages of infant and young child feeding.

Abstract

ABSTRACTEducation to children needs to be simple, easy to understand, and done in a fun atmosphere. One of them is the snakes and ladders game. The snakes and ladders game is an educational game that can be an appropriate media for education. Throught this game, children are expected to get the right and correct knowledge about Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). Appropriate and correct knowledge is very important and necessary in preventing DHF. The purpose of this study was to identify the increase in students’ knowledge in an effort to prevent DHF throught snakes and ladders game. This study used a quasy experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design, with data collection techniques using simple random sampling. Data were collected in January 2025 at SMP Negeri 01 nanga Taman using a questionnaire and the snakes and ladders game. The sample in this study amounted to 82 respondens, and analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The result of this study indicate that there is a significant effect on student knowledge before and after the snakes and ladders game with a p value <0.05. In this study, the snakes and ladders game has an effect on students’ knowledge in preventing DHF. Salah satunya adalah dengan permainan ular tangga. Permainan ular tangga merupakan permainan edukatif yang dapat menjadi media penyuluhan yang tepat. Melalui permainan ini anak diharap mendapatkan pengetahuan yang tepat dan benar tentang demam berdarah dengue (DBD). Pengetahuan yang tepat dan benar sangat penting dan diperlukan dalam mencegah terjadinya DBD. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi peningkatan pengetahuan siswa dalam upaya mencegah terjadinya DBD melalui permainan ular tangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasy ekperimen dengan rancangan penelitian one group pretest-posttest design, dengan tehnik pengamnilan data secara simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan pada bulan Januari 2025 Di SMP Negeri 01 Nanga Taman dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan dilakukan permainan ular tangga. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 82 responden, dan dianalisis mengunakan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pada pengetahuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan permainan ular tangga dengan nilai p<0,05. Pada penelitian ini permainan ular tangga berpengaruh terhadap pengetahuan siswa dalam mencegah terjadinya DBD.  Kata Kunci : Permainan Ular Tangga; Pengetahuan; DBD

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe application of nesting interventions and positioning are efforts that can be made to increase weight and maintain body temperature stability in low birth weight (LBW) infants. This study aims to identify nursing care with the application of nesting and positioning interventions in improving body temperature stability and weight in LBW infants in the perinatology ward of Dr. Soedarso General Hospital, Pontianak. The design of this study is a descriptive study using case study results with a nursing care process approach. There were two cases of LBW infants who received nesting and positioning interventions. Nursing care was provided for 3 days. There was an increase in weight in both LBW infants after the application of nesting and positioning interventions for 3 days. In the first case, the infant with hypothermia experienced a change in body temperature within normal limits. Nesting and positioning interventions are effective and can be provided to LBW infants to help increase weight and maintain body temperature stability. The infants appears comfortable in the nesting position and can adapt to the position given. Nesting intervention and positioning are independent nursing actions that are easy to perform and can be applied to low birth weight infants.Keywords : Low birth weight (LBW) infants,  Nesting, Nursing Care, and Positioning ABSTRAKPenerapkan intervensi nesting dan pemberian posisi adalah upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan berat badan dan mempertahankan kestabilan suhu tubuh pada bayi berat badan lahir rendah (BBLR). Penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi asuhan keperawatan dengan penerapan intervensi nesting dan pemberian posisi dalam meningkatkan kestabilan suhu tubuh dan berat badan bayi BBLR di ruang perinatologi RSUD dr. Soedarso Pontianak. Desain penelitian ini adalah descriptive study menggunakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan proses asuhan keperawatan. Terdapat 2 kasus bayi BBLR yang mendapat intervensi nesting dan posisi. Asuhan keperawatan dilaksanakan selama 3 hari. Terdapat peningkatan berat badan pada kedua bayi BBLR setelah dilakukan penerapan intervensi nesting dan pemberian posisi selama 3 hari. Pada kasus pertama bayi dengan hipotermia mengalami perubahan suhu tubuh dalam batas normal. Intervensi nesting dan posisi efektif dan dapat diberikan pada bayi BBLR untuk membantu meningkatkan berat badan dan mempertahankan kestabilan suhu tubuh. Bayi tampak nyaman dalam nesting dan dapat beradaptasi dnegan posisi yang diberikan. Intervensi nesting dan pemberian posisi merupakan tindakan keperawatan mandiri, mudah dilaksanakan dan dapat diterapkan pada bayi BBLR.Kata Kunci : Asuhan keperawatan, Bayi BBLR, Nesting, dan Posisi
