Abstract

Telah banyak penelitian terkait penggerek batang padi, namun dibutuhkan pengukuran intensif pada waktu kemunculan hama dalam mensiasti ketepatan penanaman padi. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni; (1) mengkaji pengaruh waktu tanam terhadap tingkat serangan hama penggerek batang padi; (2) mengkaji ledakan serangan hama penggerek batang padi; dan (3) mengkaji korelasi antara intensitas serangan hama penggerek terhadap jumlah kerusakan anakan padi sawah. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Helumo Kecamatan Mootilango Kabupaten Gorontalo, pada Bulan Oktober sampai Desember 2024. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan Rancangan acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 3 perlakuan penentuan waktu tanam (awal, puncak, & akhir), yang diulang sebanyak 4 kali. Penentuan sampling tanaman ditentukan dengan pola diagonal, dengan pengamatan 50 rumpun setiap petak sampel. Analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis intensitas serangan, sidik ragam, dan regresi korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Waktu tanam memiliki pengaruh dengan tingkat penyerangan hama penggerek batang padi putih di Desa Helumo; (2) Intensitas serangan tertinggi terjadi pada akhir waktu tanam dan terendah pada awal waktu tanam. Persentase penyerangan hama penggerek padi sebesar 0,1-0,57% dan tergolong ringan; dan (3) Korelasi signifikan antara intensitas serangan hama penggerek terhadap jumlah anakan yang terserang ditunjukkan pada puncak musim tanam, dengan tingkat serangan mencapai 48,23% kerusakan anakan diakibatkan oleh serangan hama penggerek padi. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa di puncak tanam populasi meningkat sejalan dengan serangan yang semakin meningkat, bila dibandingkan pada awal dan akhir penanaman

Abstract

This socialization was carried out with the aim of providing an understanding of the use of Social Media as a means of product promotion for the community and MSME actors in East Pentadio Village. In this activity, participants were given hands-on training and demonstrations on how to utilize social media for MSME promotion. The results of the activity The results showed that participants had the knowledge and skills to create video content and share it on social media as a means of promoting MSME. Content will be shared in social media as a means of promoting MSME products. This activity is very important in increasing community awareness and ability to use social media to promote MSME products. in using social media to promote MSME products.

Abstract

Empowering the economic community of Suka Makmur Village, Bone Bolang District, is a strategic step in supporting local independence and achieving sustainable development. One potential natural resource with high economic value that has not been optimized is palm sap. The palm sugar artisan community has so far focused on traditional palm sugar production, which, although a local characteristic, has not provided significant added value. Given this situation, this community service activity was carried out to introduce and socialize the concept of palm sap-based product diversification, emphasizing the potential for developing liquid palm sugar and palm syrup as innovations that are more adaptive to modern market needs. The implementation method was carried out in a participatory manner through socialization and counseling, accompanied by group discussions to explore opportunities, challenges, and market potential for palm sap derivative products. The results of the activity showed an increase in community understanding of product diversification, awareness of the importance of hygienic processing, and a collaborative spirit to continue innovation at the village level. This activity not only provided new insights to the community but also generated initial data on the palm sap value chain and production capacity that can be used as a basis for developing further programs. Thus, this program plays a role in strengthening sustainable local agribusiness systems through community empowerment based on local natural resource potential.
