Abstract

This journal was written with the aim of knowing the role of leadership in police organizations. Leadership is attitudes and behavior to influence subordinates so that they are able to work together, so that they can form harmonious cooperation. Leadership theory aims to explain how a leader's behavior influences the motivation and work performance of his subordinates, in different work situations. The ability to control resources and other factors to achieve organizational goals is an effort that must be carried out in every organization. In writing this journal, the process carried out by the author is to look for material references in the journal and other materials collected. The process of writing this journal involves working with materials, benefits, and concepts. Leaders in organizations need to communicate smoothly and effectively to achieve their goals by ensuring continuous improvement or quality improvement in organizational performance and human resource performance. Therefore, almost all members of an organization must understand the organizational communication process in order to correctly understand that there are no errors in communication between them.

Abstract

The phenomenon of toxic friendship among Bhayangkara University of Greater Jakarta students, which has a negative impact on mental, social, and academic health. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, this study involved a psychoeducational intervention consisting of a pre-test, material delivery, and post-test to measure the effectiveness of the program. The psychoeducation included an understanding of the characteristics, impacts, and anticipation strategies of toxic friendship, emphasizing Ibn Miskawaih's principles of friendship ethics, such as choosing friends wisely, maintaining healthy boundaries, and prioritizing cooperation. The results showed an increase in students' understanding of toxic friendship and the importance of building healthy friendships. This study contributes to the toxic friendship literature and offers practical solutions through psychoeducation and the formation of support groups to create a positive friendship environment on campus.

Abstract

The phenomenon of toxic friendship among university students is a significant issue because of its impact on mental health, academic achievement, and individual social abilities. This study aims to identify forms of toxic friendship, provide education about healthy friendship relationships, and develop prevention strategies based on religiosity values. The methods used included psychoeducation and observation, which were applied to students of Bhayangkara University, Greater Jakarta. The intervention results showed an increase in participants' understanding of the impact of toxic friendship and the ability to manage interpersonal relationships in a healthier manner. The programme also emphasised the importance of integrating religiosity values as a foundation in establishing positive friendship relationships. This study recommends ongoing programmes such as communication skills training, support group formation, and psychological consultation services to address these challenges.
