Abstract

Allah merindukan setiap orang Kristen yang telah menerima Yesus sebagai Tuhan dan Juruselamat melangkah masuk ke dalam perjalanan selanjutnya yakni mengalami pertumbuhan rohani. Perjalanan tersebut sifatnya bukanlah natural, tetapi supranatural dimana pemahaman serta pengalaman bersama dengan Roh Kudus yang akan membawa dalam pertumbuhan rohani tersebut. Abstract

Alcohol abuse among Christian youth is a serious problem that requires appropriate treatment. This article aims to explore ways to overcome this phenomenon, by referring to the Book of Isaiah 5:22-24. The meaning and implications of these verses in the context of overcoming alcohol abuse among Christian youth will be analyzed. Analysis will include an understanding of the punishments mentioned in the text, as well as spiritual and practical strategies that Christian youth can employ to avoid temptation and change harmful behavior. Relevant keywords include alcohol abuse, Christian youth, the Book of Isaiah, coping, spirituality, and behavior change. This research aims to provide meaningful guidance for Christian youth in overcoming the problem of alcohol abuse, as well as to support them in building a healthy lifestyle that is in line with the values of their faith. Thus, overcoming alcoholism among Christian youth is not only an individual responsibility, but is also part of a collective effort to build a better society.

Abstract

Church ministry is an activity to build the congregation towards spiritual maturity and experience with Christ in God's field. There are many service activities that the church has to serve fellow internal and external congregations. However, it cannot be denied that service which is supposed to provide feelings of gratitude, happiness, and a thirst for the meaning of serving others, is problematic because this service causes deep psychological fatigue (burnout). Burnout is a problem for many servants of God, especially spiritual leaders, which will cause a decrease in the quality of service, conflict, and have an impact on decreasing physical health as well as psychological and mental health. The aim of this research is to identify and analyze burnout management among especially church leaders, as well as having the ability to save from excessive stress towards enlightenment. The methodology used is library research accompanied by observations in service areas and also when interactive dialogue occurs during leadership-themed seminars. It was concluded that spiritual leaders, apart from having resilience based on the word of God, are also equipped with the science of emotional control and are especially intelligent in handling burnout with positive and constructive output.

Abstract

This article aims to research the Balinese tribes in the Hindu cultural region and find mission methods that suit the Balinese tribes. Research on these tribes is crucial in finding effective mission methods. This is because an understanding of the people, religion, culture, and tribal worldview can help find a good point of contact for a successful mission. The author has investigated the Balinese tribe from a social, religious, and cultural perspective. In particular, Balinese Hindu traits have been identified and analyzed, as well as the Hindu social structure, caste system, and local communities and rituals in Bali have been investigated. Research on the history of missions in Bali is also carried out to find obstacles in missions in Bali, reduce mistakes in facing new mission challenges, and find effective and implementable mission activities. The history of missions in Bali may be short, but it is full of suffering and tears. However, at the same time, a spark of hope can be found that is not extinguished in the midst of adversity. The Trinity of God in His mission, the author analyzes the 'role of the Holy Spirit', emphasizing the Holy Spirit at work in Bali. The author focuses on the Trinity relationship of God to communicate the importance of the mission attitude that wants to communicate through the relationship. This is linked to 'mission contextualization', and the author mentions a model of contextualization that leads towards physical spiritual unity. We also investigated the concept of 'Missionary Church' and how it can be applied in cross-cultural mission sites. Regarding the 'mission for the weak', the author analyzes Jesus' mission to the poor, marginalized, and weak, and mentions the importance of mission for them today. In addition, we mentioned the advantages of the peripheral mission model that can be applied in Bali, especially in orphanage services, and we present the future direction for orphanage services in Bali that are currently operating. Before offering practical mission methods, the author has done a theological reflection on the mission of the Triune God, the contextualization of missions, the mission church, and missions for the weak. The author also proposes an independent mission church model in the form of a cooperative and proposes the mission of Christian schools as part of the educational mission. Now, through the study of the mission of the Balinese tribe in the Hindu cultural region of Bali, it can be concluded that God's mission can be accessed through the view of Jesus Christ in the flesh. In other words, when we have an attitude of loving and respecting the Balinese tribe with the heart of Jesus Christ, we can find the mission connection point and achieve the mission results.

Abstract

Allah yang mulia juga menetapkan pernikahan sebagai lembaga yang pertama kali dan ikatan yang permanen. Pernikahan adalah perjalanan seumur hidup, perlu memelihara hubungan dengan penghormatan satu dengan yang lain. Di dalam penghormatan inilah cinta kasih akan tumbuh dan menghasilkan buah kebaikan, kesetiaan, murah hati, kesediaan menolong dan kebahagiaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengeksplorasi peran kasih dalam kehidupan pernikahan keluarga Kristen. Metode yang digunakan metode library research, yaitu studi kepustakaan.

Abstract

Fokus permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah keadaan self-esteem remaja putri Kristen ditinjau dari keterlibatan peran ayah di GPT Denpasar. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian adalah bagaimana keterlibatan peran ayah dalam pembentukan self-esteem pada remaja putri Kristen di GPT Denpasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif – studi kasus dengan melibatkan 7 orang remaja putri Kristen. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa remaja putri yang kurang adanya keterlibatan peran ayah menghasilkan self-esteem yang rendah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh ayah yang mengabaikan dan kurang mendidik sehingga membuat remaja putri Kristen merasa dirinya dibiarkan, tidak dikasihi dan tidak berharga. Dari ditemukannya hasil tersebut maka terbukti bahwa keterlibatan ayah memiliki peran penting dalam pembentukan self-esteem. Untuk itulah, perlu dilakukan sebuah supportive counseling sebagai upaya dalam meningkatkan self-esteem remaja putri Kristen yang rendah.
