Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the study is to obtain a clear explanation of the condition of Christian Guided Residents in Class II A Laps in Pontianak. Furthermore, it becomes a reference for the Pastor in particular and the church in general to participate in improving the spiritual quality of Christian Guided Residents in Class II A Laps in Pontianak. This type of research is a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The results of this study illustrate the experience of the Shepherd Session Church of the Indonesian Gospel Camp Area Pontianak. In this study researchers conducted several stages, namely: Rereading the results of in-depth interviews. Make verbatim transcripts carefully to analyze data in full from the results of the interview. Clarifying the data by taking verbatim transcripts to all participants. Analyze keywords by underlining or creating meaningful word codes. Analyze several of the same keywords to be organized into categories. Analyzing categories to create themes. The themes that have been arranged are analyzed whether answering the research objectives or by discussing with the supervisor. From the results of the questionnaire and interview questionnaire, two themes are identified, these themes are: First, Non-Intensive Counseling Guidance is Implemented. Abstract

This article discusses the discipleship principle in Acts 2:42 for the spiritual growth of the church today as seen in the output in Acts 2:47. This study aims to explain the principles of discipleship that are relevant for the spiritual growth of the church today, by studying the principles found in Acts. Researchers use qualitative research methods and a biblical approach. This principle focuses on the apostles' teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer as means of deepening understanding of Christ's doctrine. The guiding principles used by followers of Jesus Christ at that time included several important elements. First, the direct teaching of the apostles became the main foundation of learning. This emphasizes the importance of having teachers who provide proper teaching. Second, fellowship becomes an important element in learning. Followers of Christ learn from others through discussion, brainstorming, and helping each other understand the doctrine of Christ. Third, breaking bread becomes a significant learning method. During this activity, followers of Christ discuss and deepen their understanding of Christ's doctrine. This activity creates strong social bonds between members of the congregation and allows for mutual strengthening in faith.  Fourth, prayer is an important aspect of this learning method. Followers of Christ learn through prayer and strengthen faith through prayer together.

Abstract

Alcohol abuse among Christian youth is a serious problem that requires appropriate treatment. This article aims to explore ways to overcome this phenomenon, by referring to the Book of Isaiah 5:22-24. The meaning and implications of these verses in the context of overcoming alcohol abuse among Christian youth will be analyzed. Analysis will include an understanding of the punishments mentioned in the text, as well as spiritual and practical strategies that Christian youth can employ to avoid temptation and change harmful behavior. Relevant keywords include alcohol abuse, Christian youth, the Book of Isaiah, coping, spirituality, and behavior change. This research aims to provide meaningful guidance for Christian youth in overcoming the problem of alcohol abuse, as well as to support them in building a healthy lifestyle that is in line with the values of their faith. Thus, overcoming alcoholism among Christian youth is not only an individual responsibility, but is also part of a collective effort to build a better society.
