Abstract

Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam membaca Al-Qur’an dengan kurun waktu tiga bulan di YTPAI Raudlatul Muta’allimin Lamongan. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan kerja sama dengan mitra pendidikan dengan tahapan pengabdian; Pertama, Pertemuan 1 (Pengenalan, Persiapan, dan Perencanaan Program). Kedua, Pertemuan 2 (Implemestasi Program), Ketiga, Pertemuan 3 (Evaluasi). Keempat, Pertemuan 4 (Isigasah, Penutupan, dan Laporan). Kemudian untuk mengetahui ketercapaian target, teknik yang digunakan adalah pemantauan langsung selama tahap implemtasi program dan evaluasi berkala pada setiap pekannya. Hasil dari pengabdian menunjukan bahwa dua strategi yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam membaca Al-Qur’an tergolong berhasil. Pertama, Akselerasi Kompetensi Baca Al-Qur’an memiliki tingkat keberhasilan tinggi di mana 110 dari 146 siswa yang mengikuti program ini dinyatakan lulus. Kedua, program Grup Tartil Raudlatul Muta’allimin tampil sukses di acara Haul Muassis dan Masyayikh ke-13 dengan membaca juz 30 surah al-Duha sampai al-Nas dan di acara Nuzulul Qur’an dengan membaca surah al-Kahfi.

Abstract

This research examines the phenomenon of Living Qur’an in Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa Al-Jihad Surabaya which has been going on since 2015 and is manifested through the tradition of reading eight selected surahs every last Thursday of the month. The surahs read include al-Kahfi, al-Sajdah, Yasin, al-Dukhan, al-Waqi‘ah, al-Mulk, al-Insan, and al-Buruj. This tradition is only followed by tahfiz students and has been going on for generations without an explicit explanation of its benefits from the teacher. This study aims to examine the procession of tradition implementation and understand its meaning for tahfiz teachers, tahfiz administrators, and tahfiz students. The method used is descriptive-qualitative with Alfred Schutz's phenomenological approach. The results showed that the tradition procession consisted of five stages. First, the recitation of the kalam qadim prayer. Second, the recitation of tawasul. Third, the recitation of eight selected surahs alternately by tahfiz students. Fourth, the reading of tahlil, mauizah hasanah, and prayer together. Fifth, eating together. In terms of subjective and objective meanings, this tradition is seen as special, sacred, and a distinctive identity of tahfiz Al-Jihad students. The motives behind this tradition, both in terms of because of motive and in order to motive, include spiritual needs, obedience to the teacher, the obligation to follow the rules of the pesantren, a means to murajaah memorisation of the Qur'an, and the hope of getting blessings from each surah read and becoming a better person in the future.

Abstract

The story of the Prophet Joseph is one of the most prominent narratives in the Qur'an and has the title ahsan al-qasas because it contains a life journey full of trials, emotions, and exemplary. This research is important because it analyzes how social media-based da'wah is able to represent Qur'anic values relevant to modern life. This study aims to examine Ustaz Firanda's interpretation of the maghza of the Prophet Joseph's story, as well as analyze the structure and discourse strategies he uses. The research method used is qualitative with the maghza approach and Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis. The results showed that Ustaz Firanda highlighted moral values including patience in facing trials, guarding oneself from the temptation of women, not showing off favors, doing ihsan, and using tawriyah to avoid false speech. From the discourse aspect, this story is presented representatively as a reflection of contemporary life, building a communicative relationship with the audience through light language and contextual analogies, and creating an identity as an academic preacher. The YouTube dissemination strategy makes this lecture flexible and accessible. Socio-culturally, this lecture serves as a space for the formation of religious awareness and moral reflection that is relevant to the challenges of the times, and answers the needs of the people for digital da'wah.

Abstract

This study investigates the use of hadith in Al-Dur al-Manthur fi Tafsir bi al-Ma'thur by Imam Suyuti, a classical tafsir that applies the al-athari method by relying heavily on narrations from the Prophet Muhammad, his Companions, and the Tabi'in. The main issue addressed in this research is the absence of a detailed classification or mapping of how these hadiths are utilized within the commentary, which causes the tafsir to appear as a compilation of narrations rather than a critical analysis of the Qur'anic content. The purpose of this study is to classify the types of hadith based on their functional roles in the interpretation of verses, using Surah al-Fatihah as the primary focus.The research employs a qualitative method with data gathered through literature review. The primary data source is Al-Dur al-Manthur, while secondary sources include scholarly books and journal articles relevant to Qur'anic exegesis and hadith studies. The analytical approach is descriptive-analytical, aiming to identify patterns and categorize hadith usage. The findings reveal that hadiths in this tafsir serve seven distinct purposes: explaining alternative names of a surah, indicating the location of revelation, describing the benefits and virtues of a surah, providing explicit interpretations of verses, highlighting qira'at variations, and elaborating on legal implications. This study contributes to the field of Qur'anic interpretation by offering a structured framework for understanding how hadith is functionally employed in one of the most renowned traditional commentaries.

Abstract

Tulisan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh semakin samarnya karakteristik orang munafik seiring berkembangnya zaman. Secara ringkas artikel ini berisi analisis kritis terhadap karakteristik orang munafik di era modern yang disampaikan oleh Ustaz Adi Hidayat di kanal YouTube-nya Adi Hidayat Official. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah memahami bagaimana Ustaz Adi Hidayat mengkontruksi ulang karakteristik orang munafik di era modern bedasarkan interpretasinya terhadap surah al-Nisa’ [4]: 107. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis Teun A. Van Djik. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa struktur teks wacana (makro, super struktur, dan mikro) berisi makro/tema karakteristik orang munafik di era modern perspektif Ustaz Adi Hidayat. Super struktur/skema video diawali dengan salam, penjelasan, contoh, dan diakhiri dengan nasihat. Mikro/penyampaian menggunakan diksi yang komunikatif, sederhana, dan mudah dipahami. Adapun kognisi sosialnya dilatarbelakangi oleh; 1) Samarnya sifat munafik seiring berkembangnya zaman 2) Sebagai pengetahuan objektif 3) Sebagai introspeksi diri. Terakhir, konteks sosialnya terkait karakter orang munafik yang suka berdebat dan berselisih namun lawan bicaranya adalah orang yang benar adalah seperti kasus Panji Gumilang terkait bercampurnya saf salat antara pria dan wanita di Pondok Pesantren Al Zaytun dimana Panji Gumilang bersikukuh bahwa tindakannya itu benar. Padahal itu bertentangan dengan syariat Islam dan tradisi salat di Indonesia.
