Abstract

Loneliness is an emotional and mental condition characterized by a feeling of isolation and a lack of meaningful bonds with others, which will then be accompanied by a variety of negative  emotions such as anxiety, depression, dissatisfaction, self-blame and unhappiness. The loneliness felt by the elderly focuses more on the lack of contact and social role in the family, in society, and in the work environment. This study aims to identify the level of loneliness of the elderly who live in the house and who are lonely in the nursing home in Cirebon City. This study method is a comparative study method using a quantitative approach. In this study, the number of samples used was 33 samples from the elderly living in the nursing home and as many as 100 samples of the elderly living at home and meeting the exclusion and inclusion criteria that were in line with the study objectives. The sampling technique uses Simple Random Sampling. The research instrument used was  the University of California of Los Angeles (UCLA) Loneliness Scale questionnaire. The results of the analysis using  the Mann-Whitney  test showed a significant score (p=0.000 <0.05) providing evidence that there was a comparison of loneliness levels between the elderly living at home and in nursing homes. The conclusion that can be drawn in this study is that there is a comparison of loneliness levels in the elderly who live at home and in nursing homes. Researchers suggest investigating family function on the degree of loneliness for the elderly

Abstract

Exams are one of the factors that affect the level of anxiety. The anxiety experienced by women higher than that of men, the reason is because the hormones possessed by women are faster in bringing out the side of empathy. One of them is facing an exam. Therefore, it is necessary to have an intervention to reduce anxiety, one of which is Progressive Muscle Relaxation therapy. This study aims to determine the effect of Progressive Muscle Relaxation to reduce anxiety levels in seventh grade students in facing exams. This quasi-experimental research uses a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study amounted to 28 participants. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The research instrument using an anxiety questionnaire is the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS). This questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability with a coefficient value of Cronbach's Alpha 0.793 with a total of 14 items. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test to determine the effect of Progressive Muscle Relaxation on reducing anxiety levels. The results showed that there was a significant decrease in the results of the pre and post anxiety level questionnaires with an average decreasing value of 14.50. And the obtained Wilcoxon test results 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there is an effect of giving progressive muscle relaxation therapy on anxiety in class VII students. Progressive Muscle Relaxation can reduce anxiety levels in female students in facing exams.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan fenomena yang merugikan dan dapat berdampak negatif pada kesejahteraan psikologis individu, terutama remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor psikologis yang menjadi penyebab perilaku bullying di kalangan remaja. Studi ini menyelidiki faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian bullying pada remaja melalui metode literature review dari beberapa jurnal terkait. Tinjauan pustaka mengenai definisi bullying, prevalensi, dan konsekuensi bullying digunakan sebagai landasan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang signifikan dalam kejadian bullying pada remaja. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan sekolah yang tidak aman, ketidakseimbangan kekuasaan, hubungan sosial yang buruk, serta faktor personal seperti tingkat agresivitas dan rendahnya keterampilan sosial merupakan faktor-faktor utama yang menyebabkan terjadinya bullying. Implikasi dari temuan ini untuk pencegahan dan intervensi bullying pada remaja dibahas dalam konteks upaya membangun lingkungan yang aman dan mendukung bagi seluruh siswa
