Stroke is a disorder of blood circulation in the brain, either due to ischemic (non-hemorrhagic stroke) or hemorrhagic (hemorrhagic stroke), which causes a lack of blood supply to the brain. Depression is an emotional disorder experienced by a person that can make him feel sad and helpless. The prevalence of stroke in Indonesia is 12.1 ‰, the highest in the province of South Sulawesi (17.9‰) and the lowest in the provinces of West Papua, Lampung and Jambi (5.3‰). Abstract

The emergence of a theoanthropocentric-integralistic-interconnective scientific paradigm that makes the Qur'an and As-Sunnah the center of knowledge by developing various patterns of ijtihad makes solutions to life's problems more concrete. Among the approaches used is complementarity, namely the approach of science and Islamic teachings that strengthen each other but still maintain their respective existence. In the context of single-parent families, the various problems they face often lead to the vulnerability of the family institution. The Qur'an as a guide provides guidance through the exemplary profiles of successful single-parent families. This study, which aims to uncover the internal management of single-parent families, whose profiles are described in the Qur'an in achieving family resilience, is a purely library research using qualitative methods. The interpretation methodology used is thematic interpretation with a psycho-social complementarity approach. The psycho-social theory referred to is Froma Walsh's key processes in family resilience, while the Qur'anic verses referred to are verses that tell stories (qashah Al-Qur'an) about single parents who have succeeded in presenting family resilience. This study found that based on the Qur'anic exemplary subjects, the internal family management domain is a key process in building family resilience that includes belief systems, organizational processes, and communication processes. This study recommends that single parents implement internal family management so that they can still realize family resilience even though there are structural and functional flaws.
