Abstract

Purpose: This study explores the impact of integrating machine learning algorithms and big data analytics on risk assessment and management, focusing on financial, strategic, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) perspectives. Research Design and Methodology: The research utilizes a comprehensive literature review to analyze the benefits, challenges, and implications of incorporating machine learning and big data analytics into risk management frameworks. It synthesizes insights from scholarly articles, empirical studies, and regulatory documents to provide a holistic understanding. Findings and Discussion: The findings reveal that integrating machine learning and big data analytics significantly enhances risk measurement and management in strategic financing decisions. These technologies improve risk assessment accuracy, help identify emerging risks, and enable organizations to capitalize on market opportunities. Including ESG criteria in risk management frameworks further strengthens organizational resilience by addressing non-financial risks. Implications: The study underscores the need for innovative risk management practices to navigate uncertainties and seize opportunities in a complex, interconnected environment. It highlights the importance of leveraging technological advancements and incorporating ESG considerations into risk management to enhance organizational resilience, drive long-term value creation, and support sustainable development. Future research should explore further innovations in risk management frameworks.

Abstract

Desa Bola Romang di Kabupaten Gowa memiliki potensi besar dalam pengembangan usaha lebah madu yang berkelanjutan. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan dan peluang usaha dalam budidaya lebah madu. Kegiatan meliputi Forum Discussion (FD), observasi sarang lebah tradisional dan modern, serta kunjungan ke rumah produksi lebah madu. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan beberapa kendala utama, seperti rendahnya produktivitas, keterbatasan sarana produksi, akses pasar yang minim dan Pemasaran madu masih menggunakan system tradisional berupa system Word of Mouth Marketing. Namun, ditemukan pula peluang strategis seperti diversifikasi produk madu dan optimalisasi teknik budidaya modern. Kegiatan ini diharapkan mampu memberikan solusi aplikatif untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan keberlanjutan usaha lebah madu di Desa Bola Romang. Abstract

Tourism based on local wisdom has great potential in encouraging regional economic growth, especially for MSMEs. However, there are still many MSMEs that face obstacles in increasing revenue due to limited market access, ineffective marketing strategies, and low adoption of digitalization. This study aims to analyze the influence of tourism based on local wisdom on MSME income by mediating marketing digitalization. Using quantitative methods with explanatory research design. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to MSMEs in the Kajang Bulukumba tourist area. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results of the study show that tourism based on local wisdom has a positive and insignificant effect on the income of MSMEs. Tourism variables based on local wisdom have a significant negative effect on marketing digitalization, as well as marketing digitalization has a significant negative effect on MSME income. This shows that the role of digitalization as a mediator is not optimal. These findings imply the need for local governments and stakeholders to strengthen the digital capacity of MSMEs through training, mentoring, and facilitation so that the potential of tourism based on local wisdom can be maximized in increasing MSME income.
