Abstract

ABSTRACT Kidney failure is a condition where the functioning of the kidneys decreases suddenly. This occurs when the kidneys are unable to release substances into body fluids that are excreted from the body. This disrupts hormone function and metabolism, body fluids, electrolytes and phosphates (Harmilah, 2020). This kind of research is known as quantitative research. The population of this study was 134 patients at RSU Royal Prima Medan with chronic kidney failure. This sample was taken using an accidental sampling technique. The aim of this study was to investigate the provision of ice cube therapy before starting ice cube therapy, chronic kidney failure sufferers should reduce thirst. The majority The thirst level before undergoing ice cube therapy was 80 (moderate thirst category), and the average thirst level after being given ice cube therapy was 70 (light thirst category). This finding is based on the results of the Wilcoxon Test. Therefore, the p-value obtained is 0.000 (p0.05) for decreasing the intensity of thirst, it appears that the hypothesis (Ho) is accepted. Patients are advised to regularly apply this ice cube therapy to relieve thirst. The results of our research regarding "In chronic kidney failure patients who have undergone hemodialysis at RSU Royal Prima Medan, ice cube therapy has the effect of reducing thirst as follows: It is known 25% of respondents were women and 75% men. Based on Applying ice cube therapy to 100 respondents revealed that 43% of patients did not experience any changes, and 57% of patients reported changes. Keywords: Chronic Kidney Failure, Ice Cubes, Body Fluids  ABSTRAK Gagal ginjal adalah sebuah kondisi dimana bagian ginjal bekerja menurun secara tiba-tiba.Hal ini terjadi ketika ginjal tidak mampu melepaskan zat-zat ke dalam cairan tubuh yang dikeluarkan dari tubuh. Hal ini mengganggu fungsi hormon dan metabolisme,cairan tubuh,zat elektrolit, dan fosfat (Harmilah, 2020). Penelitian semacam ini dikenal dengan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 134 pasien RSU Royal Prima Medan dengan gagal ginjal kronik.Pengambilan sampel ini menggunakan teknik accidental sampling.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki penyediaan terapi ice cube sebelum memulai terapi ice cube, penderita gagal ginjal kronik seharusnya mengurangi rasa haus.Mayoritas tingkat haus sebelum menjalani terapi ice cube sebesar 80 (kategori haus sedang), dan rata-rata tingkat rasa haus sesudah diberikan terapi ice cube sebesar 70 (kategori haus ringan). Temuan ini berdasarkan hasil Uji Wilcoxon. Oleh karena itu,jumlah p-value yang di dapat sebesar 0,000 (p0,05) terhadap penurunan intensitas rasa haus terlihat bahwa hipotesis (Ho) diterima. Bagi pasien di sarankan agar dapat rutin mengaplikasikan terapi ice cube ini dapat meredakan rasa haus..Hasil penelitian kami mengenai “Pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik yang telah menjalani hemodialisa di RSU Royal Prima Medan, terapi es batu memberikan efek menurunkan rasa haus sebagai berikut: Diketahui 25% responden adalah perempuan dan 75% laki-laki. Berdasarkanpenerapan terapi ice cube pada 100 responden diketahui bahwa 43% pasien tidak mengalami perubahan apa pun, dan 57% pasien melaporkan adanya perubahan. Kata Kunci: Gagal Ginjal Kronis,Ice Cube,Cairan Tubuh

Abstract

The increase in online shopping among the community has led to the use of courier services for shipping goods. However, on the other hand, the increased frequency and volume of shipments have caused various problems experienced by consumers related to deliveries that do not meet expectations. Starting from these issues,, the purposes of this study were: (i) to analyze the decision-making process for selecting e-commerce services by e-commerce’s consumers in West Java during the Covid-19 pandemic; (ii) to analyze the factors that influence customer decision making in choosing expedition service on e-commerce during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was held in February – June 2022. The population of this study was the users of expedition services from e-commerce Shopee and Tokopedia in West Java. The sampling method used in this study was purposive sampling technique about 312 respondents. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis and SEM-PLS. The results showed that the decision-making process for the selection of expedition services on e-commerce in West Java during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out through five stages, namely problem recognition, information search, alternative evaluation, purchase decisions, and post-use. Of the six factors that have been tested, there were only two factors that had a significant influence, namely customer trust and service quality. The implications of this study suggested expedition services companies to implicate factors that have been proven to be influential, namely customer trust and service quality into the 7P service marketing mix. Abstract

The Water Resources, Highways, and Construction Agency, established in 2022 in Deli Serdang Regency, oversees road and bridge maintenance, succeeding the Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency. This study evaluates the highways sector’s performance and public satisfaction using a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and literature reviews, analyzed via method and data triangulation. Findings reveal that supervision involves setting standards, measurements, comparisons, and corrective actions. Standards focus on highway construction performance for road and bridge maintenance. Measurement includes investigation surveys, result reports, rehabilitation activities, progress reports, work calculations, and ratification. Comparisons assess performance against designs, with corrective actions addressing discrepancies. Despite challenges, the road and bridge maintenance sub-coordination staff performed effectively, covering all sections in Deli Serdang Regency, demonstrating optimal service delivery.
