Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendidik anak agar tidak melakukan bullying terhadap teman atau orang disekitarnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Hasil kegiatan dari sosialisasi mengenai bullying dan pergaulan bebas di SDN 14 Mudiak Lolo yaitu: 1) Anak menjadi paham mengenai anggota tubuh mana yang harus dijaga dan tidak boleh disentuh orang lain selain orang tua, 2) Anak menjadi paham mengenai bahaya dari bullying dan pergaulan bebas, dan 3) Anak menjadi paham pentingnya mengetahui bentuk dari bullying dan pergaulan bebas.

Abstract

Teachers play a crucial role in creating engaging and enjoyable learning by leveraging advances in media and technology to facilitate material delivery and student understanding. However, in several schools in Cluster VIII Bukik Saroban, Solok Regency, teachers still face difficulties in creating effective and innovative learning media due to limited technical skills, creativity, and understanding in adapting media to the material. The solution is ongoing training and mentoring through the Wayground platform, which is implemented in two sessions: a conceptual introduction and guided practice. The use of Wayground has been successful and received a positive response, resulting in increased student participation, ease of learning management, and improved student understanding and motivation to learn. Thus, this activity successfully bridges the demands of a student-centered curriculum with teachers' practical skills in the classroom.

Abstract

School readiness is a crucial factor in determining children’s successful adaptation and learning processes at the elementary education level. However, many parents still interpret school readiness narrowly, focusing mainly on early academic skills. This community service program aimed to enhance parents’ and teachers’ understanding of children’s readiness to enter elementary school from a holistic perspective, including physical, cognitive, language, social-emotional, and independence aspects. The activity was conducted through an offline educational and participatory approach involving lectures and interactive discussions with parents and early childhood teachers in the IGTK of Sangir Balai Janggo District, Solok Selatan Regency. The results indicated an increased awareness among participants regarding comprehensive school readiness indicators and the strategic role of parents in supporting children during the educational transition period. This program contributes to strengthening family involvement as the primary environment in fostering children’s optimal school readiness.
