Abstract

Timbulan sampah merupakan jumlah sampah yang timbul dari masyarakat dalam satuan volume maupun berat per kapita perhari, atau perluas bangunan atau perpanjang jalan. Pengelolaannya dan penanganan sampah masih dilakukan dengan paradigma lama yaitu dengan kumpul angkut buang dan hal tersebut menjadi kebiasaan dalam sehari-hari. Kemudian, tidak hanya pada pengelolaan sampah, tetapi tidak adanya tempat pemilahan dan terbatasnya lahan tempat pengelolaan sampah. Hal tersebutlah yang melatar belakangi peneliti untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh pendidikan, pekerjaan dan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang angka timbulan sampah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain penelitian survey analitik dengan rancangan penelitian Cross Sectional, variabel independen yaitu tingkat pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan pengetahuan dengan variabel dependen yaitu angka timbulan sampah rumah tangga. Populasi berjumlah 264 rumah tangga dengan metode Simple Random Sampling dan pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel sesuai dengan SNI 19-3964-1994 sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 215 responden rumah tangga di Perumahan Citra Agrindo Kecamatan Limboto Kabupaten Gorontalo dengan analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Regresi Logistik Sederhana. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa pendidikan memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar p=0.029 yang berarti terdapat hubungan antara pendidikan dengan angka timbulan sampah, pekerjaan memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar p=0.02 yang berarti terdapat hubungan antara pekerjaan dengan angka timbulan sampah, dan pengetahuan memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar p=0.002 yang berarti terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan angka timbulan sampah.Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendidikan, pekerjaan dan pengetahuan berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap angka timbulan sampah dengan nilai signifikansi p=0.029, p=0.02, dan p=0.002.

Abstract

Background: Improving people’s nutritional status is the second indicator of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are realized by working towards ending hunger, achieving food security and good nutrition, and promoting sustainable agriculture. Safe and healthy snacks​ for toddler that fulfill nutrition adequacy are very important in supporting the growth and development of toddlers. Snacks in the form of yoghurt corn pudding are expected to be an alternative to supplementary feeding for underweight toddlers. This study aimed to analyze the nutritional content and acceptability of yogurt corn pudding. Methods: This research is an experimental study with a design using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) of 1 factor and 3 levels of treatment, with 3 repetitions. This formulation of corn and yogurt used were F1 (80% corn and 20% yogurt); F2 (60% corn, and 40% yogurt); F3 (50% corn, and 50% yogurt). Organoleptic test included colour, aroma, taste and texture using hedonic scale test form to 35 moderately trained panelists. Proximate nutrient content analysis was conducted in the Food Technology laboratory of Gorontalo State University. Data analysis of organoleptic results using Kruskal-Wallis Test. Results: Statistical test results show that there were significant differences (p< 0.05) for all parameters in the hedonic test. Yogurt corn pudding formula 1 was the best formula and acceptable to the panellists. The proximate nutrient content of the yogurt corn pudding was carbohydrates 22.85%, fat 1.43%, protein 7.85%, water content 66.40 %, ash content 1.47%, total sugar 28.57%, calcium 25.03%, energy 136.03 kcal. Conclusion:  The nutritional content of pudding formula 1 that meets 10% of the toddler Nutrition Adequacy Rate is carbohydrates, protein, energy. Those that did not meet the 10% of the toddler Nutrition Adequacy Rate were fat and calcium. The sugar content is quite low. Corn Yogurt Pudding can be used as an alternative supplementary food for toddlers

Abstract

Background: Stunting is a serious child health problem in Indonesia, including in Gorontalo Province. Efforts to address stunting have been implemented through various programs, one of which is the mothers and Toddlers Class. Purpose: To describe the effectiveness of the mothers and Toddlers Class program in addressing stunting. Method: This study is a qualitative study. Key informants were the people in charge of the mothers and Toddlers Class program and cadres. Six supporting informants were participants in the mothers and Toddlers Class. This study was conducted at the Telaga Biru Community Health Center in May 2025. Results: The study shows that the program has been implemented routinely and integrated with integrated health post (Posyandu) activities, with indicators including goal achievement (timeframe, targets, and legal basis), integration (procedures and socialization processes), and adaptation (improved capacity and infrastructure). Conclusion: Although the program has shown a positive impact on improving maternal knowledge and behavior, obstacles remain, such as low understanding of stunting in some communities and limited active participation. The Mother and Toddler Class Program is quite effective in supporting stunting management, although there has been improvement in community understanding and involvement.
