Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah menjadi pendorong utama kemajuan lembaga pendidikan. Jaringan komputer adalah salah satu komponen penting dalam pertukaran informasi di dunia pendidikan. Laboratorium komputer, sesuai dengan kebijakan pendidikan nasional, berfungsi untuk mengembangkan keterampilan siswa dalam teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. SDIT Salsabila berencana untuk merancang laboratorium komputer yang memperhatikan batasan akses internet, pemantauan aktivitas pengguna, dan kemudahan pemeliharaan jaringan. Topologi jaringan star dipilih karena kehandalannya dalam jaringan lokal. Cisco Packet Tracer digunakan sebagai alat untuk merancang dan mensimulasikan jaringan, sehingga memudahkan implementasi dan pemeliharaan. Diharapkan perancangan ini akan memberikan dampak positif pada kemajuan pendidikan dan membantu siswa mencapai kompetensi yang diinginkan.

Abstract

Aksara Jawa memiliki sejarah panjang dan penting di Pulau Jawa. Sampai saat ini aksara Jawa banyak digunakan untuk obyek penelitian. Salah satunya menggunakan aplikasi OCR. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model OCR untuk aksara Jawa menggunakan Metode CTC (Connectionist Temporal Classification. Pengumpulan dataset diambil dari Wikipedia, kemudian diubah ke dalam aksara Jawa menggunakan aplikasi transliterasi. Selanjutnya teks aksara Jawa diubah menjadi gambar dan pelatiha menggunakan Metode CTC. Penelitian ini memilih Metode CTC karena mampu mengatasi masalah pelabelan urutan yang tidak sejajar, dengan memprediksi urutan karakter langsung dari input gambar. Dataset akhir terdiri dari 25.038 buah teks yang diubah ke dalam gambar dengan resolusi acak dan seragam. Model seragam menunjukkan kinerja lebih baik dari pada model acak dalam pengenalan gambar aksara Jawa, dengan mean edit distance, train loss, dan validation loss yang lebih rendah. Model seragam efektif dan baik untuk data gambar seragam, sementara model acak lebih fleksibel untuk data berbagai ukuran gambar. Peningkatan ukuran dataset meningkatkan performa kedua model.

Abstract

Ancient manuscripts are rare collections owned by every nation in theworld. The contents of a written text or document often also provideinformation on aspects of the nation's culture of the community concerned.Various efforts have been made to conserve these cultural objects, such asdigitizing manuscripts into digital images. This study aims to improve theimage of the ancient Arabic script using image enhancement and sharpeningmethods. The image enhancement used in this study is the gamma methodand the log transformation method combined using the sharpening method.The results showed that the sharpening method could improve the legibilityof an ancient manuscript.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Jaringan WLAN di SMK TI Kartika Cendekia sering mengalami kendala seperti koneksi tidak stabil, latensi tinggi, dan distribusi bandwidth yang tidak merata, sehingga mengganggu proses pembelajaran digital. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengoptimalkan kinerja jaringan WLAN dengan menerapkan metode Quality of Service (QoS) menggunakan teknik Traffic Shaping berbasis Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB). Penelitian dilakukan karena adanya urgensi peningkatan kualitas layanan jaringan agar mendukung kelancaran pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Metode evaluasi mencakup pengukuran parameter throughput, packet loss, delay, dan jitter, serta survei pengguna menggunakan kuesioner Mean Opinion Score (MOS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan throughput meningkat menjadi rata-rata 6 Mbps, packet loss menurun dari 1,2% menjadi 0,5%, delay tetap rendah (< 3 ms), dan jitter berkurang signifikan. Nilai rata-rata MOS pengguna mencapai 4,0 (kategori baik). Penerapan QoS berbasis HTB terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan performa jaringan WLAN di lingkungan sekolah, sehingga mendukung pembelajaran digital yang lancar dan nyaman.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyse the relationship between the level of student dependence on Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications, particularly ChatGPT, and its impact on their critical thinking skills, in line with educational transformation issues in the digital era. This quantitative research employed a convenience non-probability sampling approach, involving 112 student respondents in Indonesia. Data were analysed using reliability tests, normality tests, and the Paired Sample T-test. The findings indicate a high level of ChatGPT usage (Mean Score, M = 4.12), confirming students' enthusiasm for utilizing the tool for learning effectiveness and time efficiency. However, the statistical test revealed a significant difference between the level of ChatGPT usage and students' critical thinking ability (Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.009 < 0.05). This difference suggests that excessive reliance on the tool has the potential to impede the development of social and collaboration skills, and may significantly reduce students' learning independence and critical thinking ability. The study concludes that educational institutions must promptly formulate wise policies to guide students in optimally utilizing AI as a learning assistant, not as a substitute for the thinking process to ensure a balanced and sustainable educational transformation.

Abstract

Nowadays in the digital world, organizations like schools need strong network systems to help them work smoothly. Pondok Pesantren Darul Hikmah Kutoarjo Islamic School had some problems with its old network setup. These included data being shared between different parts of the school, too much broadcast traffic, and slower performance because of network conflicts. This study focuses on improving the network by using VLAN technology, which is simulated with Cisco Packet Tracer. The research uses a qualitative approach, including direct observation and reviewing existing literature. The findings show that VLANs can separate data traffic between different groups, like teachers, students, and visitors, without needing extra hardware. Testing the system showed big improvements in performance. The maximum delay went down from around 200 ms to just 10 ms, and the network became more stable by reducing jitter.
