Abstract

Human resource management has an important role in improving the quality of education, if the management of human resource management in a school is said to be good, the quality of the school will also be good. This study aims to determine the human resource management at SMK Budi utomo Sokaraja, how the quality of education at SMK Budi Utomo Sokaraja, whether the influence of human resource management on improving the quality of education at SMK Budi Utomo Sokaraja. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach and case study design. Data collection techniques were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis used interactive analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and data verification. Extension of participation and data triangulation were used to seek data validity. This research resulted in data that human resource planning at SMK Budi Utomo Sokaraja is structured based on activities from the analysis of causal factors, through annual evaluations. While the process of recruitment of teaching and education personnel is by analyzing position needs, planning the recruitment process, then placing job advertisements, conducting interviews and the last stage is selecting candidates needed by the institution. Human resource development at SMK Budi Utomo Sokaraja, especially for teaching staff, is by participating in training, training, workshops and subject teacher meetings (MGMP). As for the education staff, they are involved in training librarians, assets, correspondence and other trainings.

Abstract

Pesantren is the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia which has a noble purpose. Kyai as the leader of the Islamic boarding school plays an important role in developing character education for the students so that later after completing education at the Islamic boarding school it can be useful for the community, religion, country and nation. KH. Hisyam Tantowi is a compassionate and patient figure in educating the students, so many of the students or alumni admire him very much. This study departs from the actualization of the kiai's leadership role in character education of santri in Islamic boarding schools which consists of the role of rationality of purpose, spirituality and interpretation of the vision of education in Islamic boarding schools The method used in this study is a qualitative method in which the source of the results is obtained from interviews with predetermined sources. The results of this study prove that the Kyai's leadership role is very important for success in implementing character education in As-Suniyyah Islamic boarding schools, because of the example or real example given by the Kiai as the central leader in the Islamic boarding school and also the teacher council or ustadz and ustadzah who assist the Kiai in carrying out the wheels of education in the Islamic boarding school.

Abstract

Penerapan manajemen strategik yang baik dapat menciptakan pendidikan yang bermutu. Manajemen strategik sekolah berperan penting dalam mencapai keunggulan kompetitif dan peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Dengan mengadopsi pendekatan yang sistematis dan berfokus pada tujuan jangka panjang, sekolah dapat mengembangkan strategi yang efektif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan siswa dan mencapai keberhasilan akademik. Penelitian ini berfokus mengkaji tentang bagaimana menganalisis peran dan kontribusi manajemen strategik sekolah rintisan semi boarding school dalam peningkatan mutu pendidikan di SMK Negeri 1 Kalibagor. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melibatkan studi kasus di SMK Negeri 1 Kalibagor, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data terdiri dari tiga komponen yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen strategik sekolah rintisan semi boarding school memberikan kontribusi yang positif dalam peningkatan kualitas mutu pendidikan di SMK Negeri 1 Kalibagor. Tujuan perumusan visi misi sekolah dapat menjadi pedoman bagi seluruh steakholder dalam menerapkan perencanaan strategi. Pengorganisasian yang efektif memungkinkan sekolah untuk mengelola sumber daya manusia, sarana, prasarana, dan program pendididkan dengan efektif dan efisien. Kepemimpinan yang kuat dan visioner menjadi faktor kunci dalam menggerakkna transformasi pendidikan sekolah berbasis boarding school. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa SMK Negeri 1 Kalibagor terus memperkuat dan mengembangkan manajemen strategik sekolah rintitas semi boarding school, dengan memperhatikan aspek-aspek yang telah dididentifikasi.
