Abstract

This study aims to 1) describe the implementation of ETMR Board media based on the Project Based Learning model in an effort to improve the writing skills of grade I elementary school and 2) describe the effectiveness of ETMR Board media based on the Project Based Learning model in an effort to improve the writing skills of grade I elementary school. Beginning writing is a writing skill that is taught to students in the early stages, namely in grades I and II, which is focused on: letter writing, word writing, simple sentence writing, and punctuation writing. The subjects of this study were first grade students of SD Negeri Karanganyar 01, totaling 28 students. The method used is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, documentation, and tests. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the ETMR Board based on the Project Based Learning model can 1) make it easier for students to learn the material and 2) can improve the knowledge and skills of beginning writing of first grade students of SD Negeri Karanganyar 01. This can be seen from the average results of the pretest to posttest, as much as 15.3. Thus, the number of students who are complete has also increased by 43%.

Abstract

Technology-based learning is increasingly evolving in elementary education, including developing interactive media to enhance student learning outcomes. This study aimed to develop and evaluate the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the Nature Ninja Edugame based on Articulate Storyline for the fifth-grade Natural and Social Sciences. The research followed a Research and Development approach with the ADDIE model. Data collection techniques included observations, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. Validation results indicated high feasibility, with an average score of 90% from media and material experts. The t-test effectiveness test showed that Sig. was lower than 0.05, indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest learning outcomes. Additionally, the N-gain test showed a moderate increase (0.6336) in the small-scale trial and a high increase (0.7114) in the large-scale trial. Based on the questionnaire results, teacher and student responses were highly positive. The study concludes that Nature Ninja Edugame is effective, feasible, and practical for enhancing fifth-grade students’ science and social studies learning outcomes. This research highlights the importance of innovative and interactive learning media as an effective strategy to improve student performance and enrich technology-based learning experiences in elementary education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan pengimplementasian model Project Based Learning (PjBL) untuk meningkatkan kolaborasi peserta didik dalam muatan pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila dengan inovasi proyek puzzle dan poster secara berkelompok, pemanfaatan pretest-posttest, serta penilaian sikap kolaborasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV A SD Negeri Kalibanteng Kidul 01, Kota Semarang tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes (proyek, pretest, dan posttest) dan non tes (wawancara, observasi, dan rubrik penilaian sikap). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis deskriptif komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi model pembelajaran Project Based Learning dengan proyek puzzle dan poster dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap peningkatan kolaborasi terutama pada aspek keaktifan peserta didik dalam kelompok yang meningkat sebanyak 16% dan hasil belajar peserta didik mendapatkan pengaruh dari peningkatan kolaborasi dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata dari 66 menjadi 82.
