Abstract

This study aims to examine the direct effect of the variables of budget targets clarity, decentralization, environmental uncertainty and management accounting system on managerial performance. This study was conducted at the Pekanbaru State Treasury Service Office. The population in this study were employees working at the Pekanbaru State Treasury Service Office totaling 42 people. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The respondents in this study were the head of the office as the user of the budget/goods, the head treasurer and employees. The sample used in this study was 42 respondents. The statistical method used to test the research hypothesis is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS software version 29.0. The results of the study indicate that the variables of budget target clarity,decentralization, environmental uncertainty and management accounting systems have an effect on managerial performance. The magnitude of the influence of R-Square (R2) from budget target clarity, decentralization, environmental uncertainty and management accounting systems on managerial performance is 28.9% while the remaining 71.1% is influenced by other independent variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus and transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Although prevention efforts have been intensified, public awareness and understanding of DHF remain low, especially in densely populated areas such as Neighborhood Unit (RT) 19 in Sawah Lebar Baru Village, Bengkulu City. This study aims to determine the level of public understanding of DHF and the factors influencing it. The research method used was quantitative descriptive with a survey approach. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires distributed to 20 respondents. The results showed that the majority of the community had low knowledge about the causes, symptoms, transmission methods, and prevention of DHF. Lack of socialization, low education levels, and insufficient attention to environmental cleanliness were the main contributing factors. The conclusion of this study is the need to enhance public education through regular counseling programs conducted by health workers and Posyandu cadres.

Abstract

Environmental health is a crucial aspect in maintaining community quality of life, particularly in densely populated areas such as RT 19, Sawah Lebar Baru Village, Bengkulu. The lack of public knowledge regarding sanitation, waste management, and vector control contributes to the high risk of environment-related diseases. This Thematic Community Service Program (KKN-T) from Dehasen University Bengkulu aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of environmental health education in improving community knowledge and practices through environmental clean-up activities, distribution of educational leaflets, health counseling, and group discussions. The results revealed that the majority of the community initially had limited knowledge about environmental health. Implemented in the RT 19 residential area, the program demonstrated significant improvement in community awareness regarding environmental cleanliness. We recommend regular implementation of this education program by health workers and Posyandu cadres to achieve a healthy and self-reliant community.

Abstract

Anemia in adolescents is a significant health problem in indonesia, with a high prevalence among young girls. this activity aims to conduct early detection of anemia in adolescents in rt 19, sawah lebar baru village, bengkulu city, through hemoglobin (hb) level examinations and education on anemia prevention. the methods used include health education (delivering material about anemia, its causes, symptoms, and prevention), anemia screening (simple physical examinations such as checking conjunctiva and palms, and hemoglobin measurement using a digital hb meter), as well as nutrition education and iron supplementation. the results showed an increase in participants' knowledge about anemia and a reduction in anemia prevalence after the intervention.
