Abstract

Moral degradation in elementary schools (SD) is increasingly worrying. This can be seen from the many deviations in behavior by elementary school students, such as fights between students, rape, bullying, drugs, sexual harassment, and smoking in the school environment. Moral education in Citizenship Education (PKn) learning is an effort to overcome moral degradation for students. This research aims to describe the implementation and benefits of learning using film teaching media as an effort to prevent moral degradation in the 4.0 era. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The data analysis used is interactive analysis including data collection, data reduction, presentation and conclusions. The result of this research is that the implementation of civics learning using film teaching media at Gedongkiwo State Elementary School has inspired students to live up to the moral values ​​contained in the Laskar Pelangi film, such as the spirit of studying, responsibility, honesty, hard work, creativity, independence, love of the country, and social care, while the benefits of learning using film teaching media can improve the quality of learning to make it more enjoyable. Young citizens in the 4.0 era, apart from being required to master technology, must also have good morals, so that moral degradation in the 4.0 era can be prevented from an early age. From the data, it is recommended that teachers use film teaching media in civics learning in elementary schools to improve the quality of learning. Abstract

Salah satu keterampilan abad 21 yang sangat perlu dimiliki oleh mahasiswa sebagai bekal dalam menghadapi tantangan global adalah kemampuan berpikir kritis. Namun masalah yang terjadi adalah mahasiswa saat ini seringkali hanya melakukan proses belajar sampai pada level mengingat atau memahami saja terhadap materi-materi perkuliahan yang mereka dapatkan di kelas. Tidak jarang mahasiswa bahkan hanya terfokus pada satu pokok bahasan yang menjadi tugas individu ataupun kelompok yang diberikan dosen. Mahasiswa juga cenderung lebih banyak menerima begitu saja materi yang diberikan oleh dosen tanpa mempertimbangkan dengan lebih cermat, sehingga kurang mendorong mahasiswa berpikir kritis. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan model pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada mahasiswa sehingga mampu mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) dengan media film merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat mendorong mahasiswa memperoleh pengalaman dalam menangani masalah-masalah yang realistis, untuk merumuskan ide dan mengembangkan keterampilan penalaran, menekankan belajar sebagai proses yang melibatkan pemecahan masalah sehingga dapat mendorong mahasiswa untuk berpikir kritis. Implementasi PBL dengan media film dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) bertujuan untuk mengembangkan berpikir secara kritis, rasional, dan kreatif serta memiliki semangat kebangsaan yang dijiwai oleh nilai-nilai Pancasila dan komitmen terhadap Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia. Kata Kunci : Problem Based Learning, berpikir kritis, PKn.

Abstract

Abstarct. Waste management remains a serious challenge in various regions of Indonesia, including Longkeyang Village, Bodeh District, Pemalang Regency. The low level of public awareness about the importance of environmental preservation, combined with limited education, lack of supporting media, waste processing sites (TPST) and waste banks has worsened the situation. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to empower the community in waste management based on the concept of ecological citizenship, which emphasizes the responsibility of citizens in preserving the environment as part of national character. The program was carried out through three main stages: (1) socialization using a short film titled “Bude Jo, Belajar Kelola Sampah”, produced by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), as a communicative visual education medium; (2) compost-making training using bokashi (EM4) technology; and (3) installation of environment-themed posters in public spaces as visual reminders. Through an art-based creative approach, this program successfully fostered environmental awareness and caring character, while also opening a dialogue space between art, the community, and environmental issues. The results show increased understanding and active participation of the community in household waste management, making this PKM a concrete step toward building a more sustainable social ecosystem.  Abstrak. Masalah pengelolaan sampah masih menjadi tantangan serius di berbagai wilayah Indonesia, termasuk di Desa Longkeyang, Kecamatan Bodeh, Kabupaten Pemalang. Rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga lingkungan, ditambah minimnya edukasi dan media pendukung, serta belum tersedianya TPST dan Bank Sampah di desa tersebut semakin memperparah kondisi tersebut. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan memberdayakan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah berbasis konsep kewarganegaraan ekologis, yang menekankan tanggung jawab warga negara dalam menjaga lingkungan sebagai bagian dari karakter kebangsaan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan utama: (1) sosialisasi menggunakan media film pendek “Bude Jo, Belajar Kelola Sampah” produksi KLHK sebagai media edukasi visual yang komunikatif; (2) pelatihan pembuatan kompos dengan teknologi bokashi (EM4); dan (3) pemasangan poster bertema lingkungan sebagai media pengingat visual di ruang publik. Melalui pendekatan kreatif berbasis seni, kegiatan ini menumbuhkan kesadaran dan karakter peduli lingkungan serta membuka ruang dialog antara seni, masyarakat, dan isu lingkungan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga, menjadikan PKM ini sebagai langkah konkret menuju ekosistem sosial yang lebih berkelanjutan.
