Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is motivated by observational data which shows that the acquisition of student learning outcomes in Indonesian material is low. To respond to that, the researchers conducted classroom action research which aimed to improve student learning outcomes. The objectives to be achieved in this study include: (1) knowing the implementation of the discovery learning method in improving student learning outcomes, (2) knowing the increase in student learning outcomes with the discovery learning method for students. This research was conducted in class XI IPA JAZ SMA Negeri 2 Pangkep with a total of 28 students. This study measures all domains that exist in learning outcomes, namely: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The results showed an increase in each domain in each cycle. This can be seen from the increase in learning outcomes in cycles I and II. In cycle I, there were still 8 or 27. 59 percent of students who did not pass the KKM and 20 or 72.41 percent of students passed KKM 72 with an average student learning achievement of 77.39. It increased in cycle II, all students passed the KKM with an average score of 86.61. The uses discovery learning method students get direct learning experience so that students are active in the learning process so that learning is more interesting and can improve student learning outcomes. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe how the initial assessment, planning, implementation and challenges faced by teachers to implement learning in accordance with teaching at the right level in the merdeka curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Muhammadiyah Cambajawaya Kab. Gowa. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Research data are in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing while still ensuring data validity through triangulation of techniques and sources. The results showed that teaching at the right level learning begins with an initial assessment to map students' abilities into three groups, namely high, medium and low. Planning is arranged flexibly according to the mapping results, with different learner worksheets for each group. Learning implementation adjusts the approach to each ability level, ranging from intensive guidance to independent learning. Challenges faced include ability heterogeneity, limited resources, lack of training, limited learning time, and lack of collaboration between teachers. This research provides practical implications for teachers in developing Indonesian learning strategies that are more effective and in accordance with the needs and potential of students. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan asesmen awal, perencanaan, dan pelaksanaan, serta tantangan yang dihadapi guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran sesuai dengan teaching at the right level pada kurikulum merdeka di Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Muhammadiyah Cambajawaya Kabupaten Gowa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data penelitian berupa hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dengan tetap menjamin keabsahan data melalui triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran teaching at the right level diawali dengan asesmen awal untuk memetakan kemampuan peserta didik ke dalam tiga kelompok, yaitu tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Perencanaan disusun secara fleksibel sesuai hasil pemetaan, dengan lembar kerja peserta didik yang berbeda untuk tiap kelompok. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran menyesuaikan pendekatan terhadap masing-masing tingkat kemampuan, mulai dari bimbingan intensif hingga pembelajaran mandiri.Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi heterogenitas kemampuan, keterbatasan sumber daya, minimnya pelatihan, waktu pembelajaran yang terbatas, dan kurangnya kolaborasi antar guru. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi praktis bagi guru dalam mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang lebih efektif dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan serta potensi peserta didik.
