Abstract

Sungai merupakan sumber air penting untuk menopang kehidupan manusia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dampak sampah terhadap wilayah aliran Sungai Siak, khususnya di wilayah Sungai Duku, Pekanbaru. Sungai Siak adalah salah satu sumber daya alam terpenting bagi masyarakat umum, tetapi setelah beberapa tahun ini, kondisi kualitas air memburuk karena pencemaran air dan kondisi wilayah sekitar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan antara lain survei yang dilakukan observasi lapangan, pengambilan sampel air, Wawancara narahubung dan diskusi kelompok terfokus dengan warga setempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pencemaran air yang disebabkan oleh sampah dan kesadaran masyarakat telah mencapai titik kritis yang merugikan kualitas air dan kesehatan ekosistem. Kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya mengurangi sampah di aliran sungai siak yang belum ada meskipun pemerintah telah melakukan upaya untuk mengatasi situasi tersebut. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini berfokus pada peningkatan edukasi menjaga lingkungan, penguatan regulasi pembuangan sampah, dan kerjasama masyakarat.

Abstract

Effective archive management is one of the main needs in supporting organizational operations, including in recreational parks that have a high volume of administrative documents. This research aims to design and implement a web-based archive management application using the Laravel framework to improve efficiency in archive storage, management, and search. The research approach involves the stages of needs analysis, system design, application development, and trials on a real work environment in a recreational park. The results of the application design show that the use of Laravel as the main framework allows for the development of a responsive, secure, and easy-to-use system. The main features implemented include digital archive storage, grouping by category, keyword-based search, and role-based user access management. Testing using the black-box testing method shows that the system functions according to the designed specifications. Based on user feedback, this application is able to reduce the time of searching archives by up to 45% compared to the previous manual method. In conclusion, this Laravel-based archive management application provides a significant solution to improve the efficiency and security of document management in amusement parks. Further research is suggested to integrate the system with cloud computing technology to support more flexible access and higher scalability.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of Android-based learning media in improving students' Learning Outcomes (CP) in Basic Welding Techniques, especially in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) material at SMKN 3 Salatiga. A quantitative research approach was used with the ADDIE development model and an experimental method using the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research subjects consisted of two classes, an experimental class and a control class, each consisting of 35 students. Validation by content experts showed a feasibility score of 82%, categorized as very feasible, while validation by media experts produced a score of 74%, categorized as feasible. The results of the normality and homogeneity tests showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. An independent t-test showed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (p < 0.05) with an average increase of 22.686. In addition, the average N-Gain score in the experimental class was 0.5171 (moderate category), compared to only 0.0199 (low category) in the control class. These findings demonstrate that Android-based learning media has proven effective, feasible, and can be used as an innovative alternative in engineering learning in Vocational High Schools (SMK). This media not only improves student learning outcomes but also supports a more interactive learning process that aligns with current developments in educational technology. This media also has practical benefits in helping teachers deliver material more efficiently and engagingly, and has the potential to support the development of a vocational curriculum that is more adaptive to the needs of the workplace.
