Abstract

Adolescence is especially important for improving mental health because more than 50% of mental health problems begin at that time and many of them persist into adulthood. The increasing cases of adolescent mental disorders indicate a lack of effective mental health care for adolescents. This is clearly an important issue that has an impact on the mental development of teenagers. Addressing adolescent mental health is by increasing knowledge about the problem. The focus of this activity is to increase teenagers' knowledge about mental health and its impacts. The methods used in this activity are lectures and discussions. With a total of 60 teenagers participating, the education was carried out at SMAN 8 Maros. The results obtained after the education was carried out were an increase in the level of knowledge of teenagers regarding mental health and its impacts and how to deal with it. Advice to teenagers is expected to disseminate the information that has been obtained to other teenagers.

Abstract

Safety and security are the main things that need to be considered when driving on the road, both for four-wheeled and two-wheeled vehicle users. The risk factors for traffic injuries include various aspects, one of which is human error. Teenagers need to be coached and given good guidance to be more careful when driving. The aim of this community service is to increase the knowledge of youth groups regarding safety riding at SMAN 10 Makassar. The method provided in implementing this socialization is in the form of a lecture method and audiovisual media which is divided into 3 stages. Stage 1 preparation includes determining the schedule and preparing educational tools and instruments. Stage 2 of implementation includes a pre-test providing counseling material, a question and answer session and discussion as well as a post-test. Stage 3 is the evaluation stage. The results obtained show that there is an influence of providing lecture and audiovisual method counseling on the knowledge of students at SMAN 10 Makassar with the results of the Wilcpxon Test obtaining a p value (0.001).

Abstract

Nurses are highly susceptible to work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs). This is due to their role as an integral part of the healthcare team that serves to bridge communication between doctors and patients and facilitate the delivery of healthcare services in hospitals. Musculoskeletal disorders are one of the most frequently reported among various types of Occupational Diseases (PAK). The risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) can be predicted based on individual, psychosocial, and ergonomic factors. The purpose of this community service is to improve nurses' knowledge regarding ergonomics as an effort to prevent musculoskeletal disorders in nurses at RSUD Labuang Baji Makassar. The method used in implementing this socialization is the lecture method. The results of the t-test showed a significant influence on increasing the knowledge of nurses at RSUD Labuang Baji Makassar after being given education with a p-value =0.000.

Abstract

Pada rumah sakit sumber daya manusia yang jumlahnya paling dominan yaitu tenaga kesehatan terutama bidan wanita yang sudah menikah dan memiliki anak. Bidan dengan dua peran tersebut terkadang akan menimbulkan efek negatif dan biasa disebut dengan work family conflict. Kinerja para bidan di RSU Pratama Pangkep tahun 2023 mengalami penurunan yang ditandai dengan banyaknya keluhan dari pasien yang mengatakan bahwa pelayanan di Rumah Sakit dirasakan tidak memuaskan. Kemudian rata-rata usia dari para bidan 27-36 tahun lebih banyak dibandingkan bidan yang berumur 37-48 tahun. Semua bidan yang diambil dalam penelitian merupakan bidan yang bekerja di RSU Pratama Pangkep yang sudah menikah dan memiliki anak. Maka dari itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan work family conflict terhadap kinerja bidan di RSU Pratama Pangkep. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah analitik observasional dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah 53 orang dan sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 38 orang bidan wanita di RSU Pratama Pangkep yang diambil sesuai kriteria inklusi yaitu sudah menikah dan sedang melaksanakan asuhan keperawatan. Pengumpulan data responden menggunakan kuesioner. analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan ada hubungan antara work family conflict dengan kinerja (p value=0.001), dan ada hubungan antara usia dengan kinerja (p value=0.005). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara work family conflict dan usia terhadap kinerja bidan di RSU Pratama Pangkep.
