Abstract

This study evaluates the influence of learning motivation, practical skills, and learning outcomes on the use of Virtual Reality (VR) learning media. The method used is ex-post facto with a quantitative correlation approach on 30 student samples using questionnaires and analysis through multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that learning motivation contributes significantly to the use of VR media, confirming the importance of motivation in maximizing the benefits of this technology in education. In contrast, practical skills have a negative but insignificant influence, indicating that this factor does not significantly affect the use of VR media in this context. Learning outcomes are proven to have a positive and significant influence, indicating that good learning achievement encourages the effective use of VR media. These findings emphasize the need to focus on motivation and learning outcomes in implementing VR technology to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of safety culture on aviation safety through the implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) in Papua. The focus of this study is on safety risk management and crew training at airports in Papua, which face unique challenges such as extreme weather and difficult terrain. The research method used is quantitative analysis by collecting data through surveys and interviews. The results indicate that the implementation of a strong and effective safety culture can significantly improve aviation safety. Additionally, well-implemented SMS helps in identifying and managing risks and enhancing the quality of training and personnel qualifications. The study also emphasizes the importance of involving all stakeholders, including local communities, to create an environment that supports aviation safety. The implications of this research suggest the need for increased support and investment in infrastructure as well as continuous training to address operational challenges in Papua.

Abstract

The significant changes in the international stage have raised new challenges for the aviation world. In order to cope with these challenges, the aviaton sector has been encouraged to apply innovation, both in its products and services. This article then aims to explain some factors that are influencing innovation in the aviation sector. The method used in this article is qualitative research method by focusing on the literature review. Therefore, the authors are focusing to analyze the secondary data to gain answers to research’s problems. The result shows that there are three factors influencing innovation in the aviation sector, namely human resource capability, technology advancement, and clear energy prominence. These three factors have a positive influence, so they can encourage the aviation sector to keep innovating.
