Abstract

This article discusses efforts to optimize religious science learning in the Darul Muttaqien Qur'an Education Park (TPA) Ngadirojo Village, Sooko District, Ponorogo Regency, through the Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKNT) program implemented by students of Darussalam Gontor University. The background of the discussion included the lack of community understanding of Islamic teachings in Ngadirojo Village due to the lack of teaching staff at the landfill. The method of implementing KKNT includes various activities, such as interviews related to village conditions, implementation of learning at landfill, Pondok Ramadhan activities, and competitions as learning evaluations. The results of KKNT activities show a significant improvement in the knowledge and skills of Darul Muttaqien landfill children in Islamic religious science, as well as a positive social impact on the people of Ngadirojo Village. In addition, the KKNT team also provided waqf results in the form of learning modules and learning posters to make a sustainable contribution to religious and religious education in the village

Abstract

The development of Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia demands enhanced competitiveness and performance through the optimization of available resources, including intellectual capital. This study aims to analyze the implementation of intellectual capital at Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) Gontor and evaluate its contribution to the organization’s performance improvement. A qualitative case study method was employed, utilizing in-depth interviews with BMT Gontor’s staff and management. The findings reveal that intellectual capital—which includes human capital, structural capital, and relational capital—has been effectively applied across all organizational levels. This implementation has had a positive impact on operational efficiency, faster decision-making, and service innovation. Moreover, the structured and continuous management of intellectual capital has strengthened BMT Gontor’s position as a reliable and competitive Islamic financial institution. The study concludes that intellectual capital is a strategic asset that significantly contributes to the success and sustainability of the organization.

Abstract

There is a gap between the expected outcome and the implementation of zakat, although Muslims in Indonesia have great potential to donate zakat. This study aims to examine the impact of transparency, accountability, and quality of zakat management on the interests of Muzaki. This study relied on primary data collected through questionnaires on the entire Muzaki population of 5,803 people. A sample of 140 Muzakis was selected using the non-probability sampling method. Research shows that transparency, accountability, and quality of management at BAZNAS influence the increase in interest in Muzaki. Partial accountability has a positive effect on Muzaki interest, and transparency, and management quality have a significant negative impact. Transparency is the connecting variable between accountability and management quality, emphasizing the considerable influence on the interests of Muzaki.
