Abstract

Early childhood literacy is essential to children's cognitive and social development. A literacy environment helps build children's interests, including reading and writing. Reading readiness is very important so young children can develop a basic understanding of letters and sounds before formal learning at school. One practical approach to increasing early childhood literacy is to utilize kindergarten libraries. They are optimizing Kindergarten Libraries as a form of accommodating Early Childhood literacy. This research uses descriptive qualitative so that the author can describe in detail and interpret the data or symptoms obtained during the study, which was carried out at Kindergarten Pelita Hati Jember. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation, with purposive determination of informants. So the informants chosen were the Principal, Class Teacher, Student Teacher, Library Teacher, and Students. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman data analysis technique. The research results show two developments in the optimization of the kindergarten library at Kindergarten Pelita Hati Jember, namely the development of book collections that are relevant to early childhood development and the development of new learning models. The library at Kindergarten Pelita Hati Jember is based on the tasks and functions of the library, including being a place for early childhood literacy activities. The room design and arrangement of books and other supporting equipment are very neatly arranged, with unique colours and a lovely study table.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of lego games in improving the creativity of early childhood at RA Nurul Jadid. Creativity is an important aspect in children's growth and development that can be developed through directed play activities. This study uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview and documentation techniques on children's activities in early childhood education institutions, especially the 4-5 year age group. The focus of this study was directed at class A which consisted of 21 students. The results of the study showed that the use of lego was significantly able to stimulate the development of children's creativity, both in terms of physical motoric, cognitive, artistic, and social emotional development. Children are able to create new shapes, think logically, and interact and work together with their peers. Lego media is effectively used as a fun and meaningful learning medium.

Abstract

Kinesthetic intelligence among early childhood students at TK Theobroma PTPN Banjarsari, Bangsalsari Subdistrict, Jember Regency. The bakiak game, which involves teamwork, balance, and body coordination, was selected as a medium to develop children’s gross motor skills. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed that the bakiak game improved gross motor skills, spatial awareness, and peer cooperation. Physical activity in this game also had a positive impact on body balance and coordination. Overall, the bakiak game proved effective in stimulating the development of kinesthetic intelligence in children at TK Theobroma Banjarsari. These results suggest that traditional games can serve as enjoyable and beneficial alternatives for learning activities in early childhood education.

Abstract

Media youtube banyak dimanfaatkan oleh anak usia dini sebagai tontonan, hal ini karena media youtube memiliki banyak konten-konten menarik tentang dunia anak-anak. Maka tugas praktisi pendidikan anak usia dini adalah bagaimana dapat memilih konten dan tontotnan yang dapat menjadi edukasi untuk anak-anak dan dapat meningkatkan perkembangan anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tentang Psikologi Perkembangan Anak usia Dini pada Edukasi yang teradapat dalam tontonan konten media youtube. Dalam penelitian ini, pendekatan yang digunakan peneliti adalah pendekatan kualitatif . Alasan peneliti memilih pendekatan ini adalah untuk mendalami secara detail tentang psikologi perkembangan anak melalui pendidikan yang ditawarkan oleh beberapa akun you tube yang memiliki konten-konten pendidikan anak usia dini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa. Youtube dapat dijadikan media pembelajaran menarik karena di media sosial youtube terdapat banyak pilihan konten-konten yang berisi edukasi pendidikan anak usia dini dan tentunya memiliki pengaruh terhadap psikologi perkembangan anak dalam hal ini seperti konten youtube Cocomelon, Bilal Cerita dan Lagu-lagu Anak Islami dan Nusa dan Rara.
