Abstract

Every country definitely has goals and interests in maintaining its existence. In making this happen, countries often face challenges and threats that can cause failure to achieve goals. This article discusses the important role of Russia's National Security Policy in responding to the country's threats and challenges. The main focus of the articles includes the current analysis of global geopolitical dynamics, changes in security threats, and steps taken by the Russian government. Through a cross-sector literature approach, this article analyzes the newest security policies and strategies implemented by Russia to protect its sovereignty, sovereign rights, territorial integrity, and national integrity and unity. The use of economic power, military resources, diplomacy, and cyber security policies are the focus of research to measure a country's effectiveness and responsiveness to evolving threats. This article aims to provide in-depth insight into the role of Russia's National Security Policy in maintaining stability, security, and national interests amidst ever-changing geopolitical dynamics.

Abstract

The Russia vs Ukraine conflict has had an impact on global geopolitical stability, such as food, energy, humanitarian, economic, and security crises. The resolution of the conflict requires a strong diplomatic approach to neutralize tensions among Western nations and promote global peace. The objective of this research is to analyze the phases of the conflict, conflict resolution, and Indonesia's diplomatic resilience in resolving the Russia vs Ukraine conflict through first-track diplomacy. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive, employing data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification techniques. The research findings show that (1) the current phase of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is at the ceasefire stage which is characterized by the cessation of hostilities while negotiations and dialogue are ongoing, (2) the conflict resolution required by Russia and Ukraine includes cultural and structural peace building.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how international law affects the Israeli-Palestinian conflict during the COVID-19 pandemic. The approach used in this research is literature study, which entails gathering pertinent material from books and journals, evaluating it, and drawing conclusions. Concerns regarding the socio-economic circumstances of Palestinians have been highlighted by the fast-spreading COVID-19 epidemic. Overcoming two issues at once is becoming more and more difficult. Considering the harm done to infrastructure for sanitation, hygiene, and water, the Palestinians’ situation is getting better. The COVID-19 virus is being stopped by impeding the flow of essential supplies into the Palestinian state and causing environmental harm, both of which may affect public health. International humanitarian law is in place to prevent these kinds of tragedies, but the Israeli government and military disobey these laws. From an international law standpoint, this research helps understand how the state of Israel behaved toward Palestine during the COVID-19 epidemic. References to a wide range of national and international periodicals and books were used in the preparation of this research. In addition, it makes use of the most recent news about the subjects covered. The findings of this review of the literature indicate that despite an increase in attacks on Palestinian civilians, the situation between Israel and Palestine has not improved

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how defense science philosophy fits into efforts to strengthen the nation’s fundamental defense capabilities. With the researcher serving as the primary research instrument and a descriptive and explanatory design approach, the research employs a descriptive qualitative methodology. With this method, a literature evaluation of the research that has been done is used to obtain more precise and in-depth information, some of which is gained later on by the researchers. Only by studying the philosophy of defense science using a succinct approach to outline the philosophy of defense science will it be possible to improve national defense capabilities through the application of an in-depth understanding that is critical, systematic, methodological, and fundamental. The emergence of the globalization, science, and technology eras can be advantageous to a nation, but they can also be dangerous for its security and defense. particularly about the state’s necessity to fulfill its national objectives, where security can only be attained via defense. Stated differently, defense is an essential human urge that cannot be suppressed. The fundamental idea behind this acknowledgment is that everyone and every person has a duty and responsibility to take part in defending their nation, which includes working to instill a strong sense of nationalism, patriotism, and fighting spirit in the Indonesian state

Abstract

The Vietnam War was one of the most dubious and compelling military conflicts of the twentieth century. This article aims to give a top-to-bottom examination of the causes, effects, and history of the conflict that sawthed in Vietnam from 1955 to 1975. Utilizing essential and optional sources, the creator investigates different parts of the contention, including its set of experiences. the specific situation, the explanations for the episode of the conflict, and the expansive effects that keep on affecting local and worldwide issues right up to the present day. The verifiable setting of the Vietnam War can be traced back to the pioneering time when Vietnam was under French frontier rule. The craving for autonomy and solidarity turned into the focal subject that molded Vietnam’s public character and brought about the different enemies of pilgrim developments. Following the First Indochina War, which saw Vietnam split along the 17th parallel, there were more wars, which eventually turned into the Second Indochina War. The main drivers of the Vietnam War were multi-layered and complex. One of the principal factors is the philosophical hole between the socialist North and the non-socialist South.
