ABSTRACT Throughout productive age, women will experience blood loss due to menstrual events and lose 0-40 mg of iron. The lost iron will cause a decrease in Hb levels in the body, causing anemia. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the behavior of Fe tablet consumption during menstruation in class XI adolescent girls at SMAN1 Lebakwangi. This research is descriptive quantitative with cross sectional approach. The research sample amounted to 70 respondents. Data in this study were analyzed univariate, bivariate and multivariate. The results showed that the majority of respondents aged 18-21 years (61.4%) and most had received information about Fe tablets (72.9%). The results of the chi-square test showed that there was a relationship between age (p value=0.000), source of information (p value=0.000) and knowledge (p value=0.000) with the consumption behavior of Fe tablets during menstruation in adolescent girls. The results of the logistic regression test found that age (OR = 74.220) was the most dominant factor influencing the knowledge of adolescent girls about Fe tablet consumption. Adolescent girls are expected to consume Fe tablets as early-as possible to be free from anemia and prepare for pregnancy and childbirth in the future.
