Abstract

In this extensive study, we thoroughly analyzed educational dynamics within the context of an economic crisis, primarily focusing on the intricate interplay among social, economic, and policy factors. Our research aimed to understand how these factors intersected and collectively influenced educational access, quality, and well-being during economic turmoil. The research methodology encompassed a comprehensive review of existing literature, empirical data collection through surveys and interviews, and quantitative analysis of educational outcomes across diverse economic conditions. Policy interventions were pivotal in shaping education's response to the economic crisis. Targeted measures, such as increased funding for low-income schools and initiatives supporting educators, proved effective in mitigating the adverse effects of economic downturns on education. Qualitative data underscored the invaluable role of social capital and community resilience in supporting education during challenging times. Communities with active social networks and robust community organizations supported students and educators. Our findings unveiled a multifaceted landscape marked by both challenges and opportunities. Notably, the economic crisis disproportionately impacted marginalized populations, leading to widening disparities in educational outcomes. Access to educational resources was severely disrupted, particularly in disadvantaged regions, exacerbating pre-existing inequalities. Moreover, the psychological well-being of students and educators emerged as a crucial aspect of educational quality, with rising stress and anxiety influencing the learning environment.

Abstract

Dalam rangkaian salah satu program kuliah kerja nyata Muhammadiyah Aisyiyah (KKN MAs) kelompok 65 dari universitas muhammadiyah riau yang dilaksanakan di kampung pangkalan pisang, Kecamatan Koto Gasib, Kabupaten Siak, terhadap kegiatan pengabdiaan masyarakat yang difokuskan pada pemberdayaan kekuatan lokal serta upaya untuk meningkatkan ekonomi di desa. Melalui peran dari mahasiswa KKN MAs, maka di buatlah inisiatif untuk membantu mengembangkan dan memajukan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) yang bergerak pada sektor pertanian, khususnya pembibitan cabai berskala individu. Ibu mutlika selaku pemilik usaha pembibitan cabai, merasakan bahwa pemasaran yang di lakukan sangat tertinggal, pemasaran yang di lakukan hanya berasal dari mulut ke mulut, menjual langsung ke para petani lokal, dan mempromosikan lewat pertemuan secara fisik. Dan mengakibatkan usaha yang di jalankan ibu mutlika hanya di kenal oleh lingkungan terdekatnya saja, sementara itu akses pasar yang sangat luas baik di luar desa maupun melalui media online belum tersentuh. Untuk mengatasinya para mahasiswa KKN MAs kelompok 65 membantu menyusun dan melaksanakan strategi pemasaran yang terstruktur dan amat praktis. Mahasiswa membantu membuat akun instagram sebagai media promosi dan mendaftarkan lokasi usaha bibit cabai ke Google Maps dan mencantumkan nomor telepon pemilik agar mudah untuk di hubungi, memberikan video tutorial tentang menjual produk, agar dapat menarik perhatian para pembeli, mengurus pendaftaran izin usaha (NIB) untuk legalitas usaha dan meningkatkan kepercayaan untuk konsumen. Melalui KKN MAs ini mahasiswa tidak hanya belajar untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan situasi yang ada pada lapangan, termasuk memahami resiko dan tantangan dan juga tanggung jawab penuh terhadap pelaksanaan program yang sudah di rencanakan. Upaya tersebut, memberikan dampak nyata dan manfaat bagi mitra usaha dalam mengembangkan usahanya dari jangkauan pasar, legalitas, dan kemampuan promosi digital.
