Abstract

This research is to analyze the character values ​​of the local wisdom of Wayang Sukuraga in Sukabumi City towards character education in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive method which aims to describe the value of character education in local wisdom in Wayang Sukuraga. This research stems from the researcher's interest in examining more deeply the connection between the phenomena experienced by the informants. The informants of this study were an artist from the city of Sukabumi and a teacher who uses the wayang Sukuraga media in learning. Data collection was carried out using interview techniques, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis in this study included collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that the Sukuraga puppet has values ​​in the formation of human character because the Sukuraga puppet story is taken from stories of everyday life. This shows that the formation of character contained in wayang sukuraga can be implemented by elementary school students in their daily lives. So that the character education obtained in this Sukuraga puppet is so that humans can stay away from evil and do good.

Abstract

Educational psychology plays a crucial role in developing students' emotional intelligence, which includes the ability to recognize, understand, and manage emotions effectively. The background of this study is based on the importance of emotional intelligence in enhancing academic achievement, building healthy social relationships, and supporting students' psychological development. This study aims to analyze the role of educational psychology in fostering students' emotional intelligence through theoretical and empirical approaches. The research employs a qualitative method with a literature review. Data collection techniques involve literature analysis from various relevant sources, while data analysis is conducted using a descriptive-qualitative approach. The results indicate that the application of educational psychology theories, such as emotional development theory and social learning, contributes to the enhancement of students' emotional intelligence. The study findings reveal that educational psychology-based learning strategies, such as experiential learning and self-reflection, can improve emotional regulation skills. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the effective implementation of educational psychology can foster students' emotional intelligence, positively impacting their emotional well-being and academic performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah inklusif di SDN Cisarua Kota Sukabumi. Aspek-aspek yang diamati dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter meliputi pembelajaran, keteladanan, penguatan, dan pembiasaan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini meliputi kepala sekolah, guru kelas, dan siswa berkebutuhan khusus (ABK). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan langkah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengecekan keabsahan data dengan triangulasi metode dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan kepala sekolah dan peran guru kelas telah ditanamkan kepada siswa di kelasnya, khususnya yang berkebutuhan khusus, melalui pembelajaran misalnya penguatan, dan pembiasaan. Dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran, guru menekankan pada penanaman nilai-nilai karakter toleransi dan kepedulian. Hal ini dilakukan guru dalam pembelajaran dengan menanamkan konsep melalui penjelasan, mendiskusikan masalah moral, cerita, pembelajaran aktif, dan metode kolaboratif. Selain itu, guru juga memberikan keteladanan dalam bersikap dan bertindak, memberikan penghargaan, memberikan bantuan individu, dan membiasakan siswa bergaul dengan teman berkebutuhan khusus, baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas.
