Abstract

This research is caused by students' obstacles in understanding science learning materials. This problem must be solved through diagnostic testing. One of the problems identified is due to misconceptions, which are introduced as misconceptions. These misconceptions can be identified by using a tool called Confidence Response Index (CRI), which detects misconceptions and lack of understanding among students. The purpose of this study was to develop a diagnostic tool and a valid CRI test model for elementary school students. This research is a development research using the 4-D model. The stages of this research consisted of planning, designing, developing, and disseminating. Dissemination was not continued in this study. The research found that the implementation of diagnostic tests and CRI obtained the results, namely the validation sheet of the lesson plan by the validator according to the criteria of very valid, the validation sheet of the learning outcomes test by the validator the criteria of a very valid category, the instrument sheet assessing the validity of diagnostic test questions with CRI by the validator with the valid category. Diagnostic tests using CRI obtained results explain almost every question students have misconceptions.

Abstract

Memorizing the Qur'an is a core tradition in Islamic education, promoting spiritual growth and the preservation of divine revelation. However, traditional rote memorization methods often overlook individual learning styles and emotional barriers, leading to challenges in long-term retention and comprehension. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of the Quantum Makky method combined with individual counseling in enhancing the memorization and understanding of Qur'anic verses, specifically Surah An-Naba (verses 4, 5, and 6) at Rumah Tahfiz Mafaza 3. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic analysis to identify key patterns. The findings revealed that Quantum Makky gestures significantly improved memory retention by creating strong cognitive links between physical movements and textual meanings. For instance, using a single finger to denote certainty in verse 4 (كَلَّا سَيَعْلَمُونَ) and spreading hands to symbolize the earth's vastness in verse 6 (أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ مِهَادًا) effectively reinforced the memorization process. Additionally, individual counseling addressed psychological barriers, enhancing self-confidence, learning motivation, and emotional resilience. This approach resulted in notable improvements in four areas: memory retention, comprehension, learning motivation, and public recitation confidence. The study highlights the value of integrating multisensory learning with personalized support, providing a practical framework for enhancing cognitive retention and emotional resilience in Qur'anic education. Future research should explore the scalability of this approach and consider integrating digital tools for broader application.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of the integrated character-based teaching teacher books associated with the theme of blood fluids on the knowledge and skills of teachers based on the assessment of the Natural Science MGMP in Padang City. This type of research is development research with a ploomp development model consisting of preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment phase. Effectiveness is carried out in the assessment phase. The research instrument used was an observation sheet in the form of a questionnaire on teacher perceptions of teacher books and changes in teacher knowledge and skills after using the developed teacher book. Data analysis used descriptive analysis with data effectiveness analysis techniques using a Likert scale. The results showed that the dissemination of teacher books in the MGMP of Padang city with nine indicators obtained the average value of teacher perceptions of 83.33 in the very effective category, and the knowledge and skills of teachers with an indicator of 8 obtained an average of 88.54 categories of very effective. For the results of research on changes in knowledge obtained a value of 83.33 in the effective category and for changes in skills obtained a value of 91.27 for the category of very effective. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the teacher's book is very effective for teacher knowledge and skills and deserves to be used as a guide for teachers in supporting the learning process and can be used as a guide for using student books in the same title.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan metode roleplaying pada materi energi dan perubahannya di kelas III MI Islahuddiniyah. Dalam bentuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, Peneliti menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Dengan 4 tahapan yaitu pertama Perencanaan, kedua Pelaksanaan, ketiga Pengamatan, keempat Refleksi. Untuk menganalisis dan membandingkan dari Pra Siklus ke Siklus I hingga Siklus II, peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, lembar soal, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan 26 orang siswa 18 laki-laki dan 8 perempuan. Dalam proses penelitian, penilaian ketuntasan siswa pada pra siklus mencapai 19,23% dengan nilai rata-rata 59, pada siklus I penilaian ketuntasan siswa mencapai 42,31% dengan nilai rata-rata 62 dan pada akhirnya siklus II penilaian ketuntasan siswa mencapai 84,62% dengan nilai rata-rata 74. Dari tahapan siklus penelitian tindakan kelas menyimpulkan bahwa menerapkan metode roleplaying pada materi energi dan perubahannya dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di kelas III MI Islahuddiniyah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) terintegrasi tes diagnostik pada materi literasi finansial siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar. Penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validasi ahli, angket praktikalitas guru dan siswa, serta instrumen efektivitas berupa tes hasil belajar dan lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul yang dikembangkan berada pada kategori sangat valid, dengan skor validasi materi sebesar 3,54, validasi modul 3,57 (89,25%), dan validasi RPP 3,64 (91,00%). Uji praktikalitas menunjukkan modul berada pada kategori sangat praktis, dengan respon guru ≥87,50% dan respon siswa 91,50%. Uji efektivitas terhadap 44 siswa menunjukkan modul berada pada kategori sangat efektif dengan persentase 90,47%, serta mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep literasi finansial siswa. Tahap disseminate menunjukkan bahwa modul dapat diterapkan secara konsisten di sekolah lain tanpa perubahan substansi. Dengan demikian, modul pembelajaran berbasis PBL terintegrasi tes diagnostik layak digunakan sebagai alternatif bahan ajar literasi finansial di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the independence of early-age students (santri) at the Tahfizh Shigor Daarul Qur’an Islamic Boarding School through individual counseling services utilizing positive reinforcement techniques. The research is motivated by the low level of independence observed among students, as indicated by their reliance on others for completing daily tasks. Contributing factors include permissive parenting styles, lack of early training, and unfamiliarity with the boarding school environment. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving two students identified as having low levels of independence. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The counseling process involved the application of positive reinforcement in the form of social rewards such as praise and applause, alongside a psychodynamic approach to explore the psychological roots of the students’ behavior. The results indicate a significant improvement in the students’ independence, as reflected in their ability to complete tasks on their own, increased intrinsic motivation to learn, and freedom in setting learning goals without dependence on others. Therefore, individual counseling combined with positive reinforcement proves to be an effective strategy in fostering and strengthening student independence in the pesantren environment.

Abstract

The low level of students’ critical thinking skills in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning remains a challenge in elementary education, particularly due to the predominance of teacher-centered instructional practices. This condition limits students’ active engagement and hinders the development of critical thinking abilities. This study aims to describe the implementation of the deep learning approach in IPAS learning as an effort to foster critical thinking skills among third-grade students at an Islamic elementary school (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah). The study employed a qualitative method with a case study approach conducted at MI Nurul Falah. Data were collected through participatory observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. Data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that the implementation of deep learning through exploration, discussion, and hands-on activities enhanced student engagement, deepened conceptual understanding, and promoted critical thinking skills. Students demonstrated improved abilities in identifying problems, analyzing information, expressing opinions, and drawing conclusions. Furthermore, the approach facilitated transfer of learning, enabling students to connect academic concepts with real-life situations. Therefore, deep learning is an effective approach for creating meaningful, active, and student-centered learning environments.
