Abstract

The achievement of an institution or company depends on the acceptance of Human Resources (HR) in an institution or company. To get quality Human Resources, an institution must hold a selection to get quality employees. Then, to get quality employees, an institution must prepare a unique strategy during the selection process. The goal is to provide the organization with an effective work unit. To achieve this goal, the study of human resource selection will show how companies should acquire, develop, use, evaluate, and maintain the correct number (quantity) and type (quality) of employees. Therefore, Kiai Demak Pondok Salam IBS Islamic Boarding School also carried out a strategy in selecting its employees so that the Kiai Demak IBS Islamic Boarding School has employees or teachers who have quality according to their fields that they can make Kiai Demak IBS Islamic Boarding School more advanced in the future. In the HR selection process, there are several ways for Islamic Boarding School Kiai Demak to use two methods, namely scientific and non-scientific.

Abstract

Education management at the elementary school level is a significant effort to improve the quality of education in the face of increasingly fierce competitiveness. This study examines the framework of education management in SD Plus Al-Luthfi Purwakarta, as well as its scope and application. The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach and library research. The results showed that the education management framework at SD Plus Al-Luthfi includes structured planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning process is carried out through a meeting at the beginning of the school year involving all relevant parties, including the foundation and school committee. In addition, academic and non-academic activities are organized by considering employees' abilities and experience. The scope of education management at SD Plus Al-Luthfi includes various elements, such as budgeting, directing, supervising, and evaluating the program. The study found that the success of education management in this school depends on good collaboration between the principal, the foundation, and all teaching staff. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of implementing effective education management to achieve the goal of quality education. Recommendations are given to improve the management of educational resources so that SD Plus Al-Luthfi can compete with other academic institutions.

Abstract

Globalization as a gate opens boundaries that allow the world to transact values, culture, knowledge, economy, and others. Globalization creates a world without barriers so that it has positive and negative impacts, including for Islamic educational institutions. Globalization provides openness for the wide spread of knowledge but also opens global currents that allow students to be affected by bad behavior such as juvenile delinquency. Globalization brings technological developments that can help improve the quality of education but can also be a threat if educational institutions are unable to develop the required skills. Therefore, Islamic educational institutions must use strategic management to face global challenges. The aim of this research is to reveal strategic management that can be applied in Islamic educational institutions in facing the era of globalization. The type of research used is a qualitative research method with a literature study research model. The results of this study found that the strategic management of Islamic educational institutions that can be carried out to face global challenges is to create technology-based educational institutions and strengthen character education.
