Abstract

Character education is critical given in any Islamic institution. At Boarding School Baitul Hikmah, character education in the broad sense is also very overlooked because of the strength of boarding, among other things that lie in student character education. In the Islamic world, characters always come first because they become the main base of human life, while science is second. Students studying in boarding school Baitul Hikmah must first be educated and depraved up substantially, and then they are given the knowledge that as many. Using the descriptive method, this study concluded that character education methods in Baitul Hikmah Islamic boarding schools are modeling, habituation, motivation, and discipline.

Abstract

Economic globalization is a process of global economic activity involving countries in the world. With free trade in the current era of economic globalization, UMKM are required to carry out appropriate strategies to win the competition. This research aims to find out how much UMKM know about the digital economy in the era of globalization which is so tight in the midst of economic globalization. In this research, researchers used descriptive qualitative methods with primary and secondary data sources, namely through observation, interviews and literature study. Based on the research results, it shows that there are still some UMKM who do not know the importance of the digital economy in today's UMKM, but there are also UMKM who know the system for implementing the digital economy in their businesses but are still limited in their knowledge of using the internet so they still have not implemented the digital economic system in their businesses.

Abstract

The rapid development of the times requires the world of education to adapt by implementing a flexible and relevant curriculum. This article analyzes pragmatic innovations in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum to improve the quality of education. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a literature study, where data is collected through analyzing literature related to curriculum and teaching. The results show that the Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes the development of 21st-century competencies and differentiated learning, which allows learners to learn according to their needs and abilities. The discussion reveals that the success of curriculum implementation depends heavily on the role of the teacher as a facilitator and motivator, as well as the importance of school management support in creating an effective learning environment. The findings provide important insights for curriculum development in Indonesia to achieve better educational goals.

Abstract

Baru–baru ini pemerintah pusat menetapkan kebijakan PemberlakuanPembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) Darurat di daerah Jawa-Bali, termasukkota Bandung. Wali Kota Bandung mengeluarkan Peraturan Wali Kota (Perwal) No.68 Tahun 2021 tentang Pemerintah akan menerapkan Pemberlakuan PembatasanKegiatan Masyarakat (PPKM) Darurat Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19).Kebijakan ini diberlakukan selama 3-20 Juli 2021 dengan beragam aturan yangberlaku, tujuannya untuk membatasi mobilitas masyarakat di kota Bandung yangsempat meningkat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat deskriptifkualitatif, yaitu menggunakan data yang berasal dari literatur buku, jurnalilmiah,maupun situs web resmi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menjelaskan efektivitas penerapanPPKM di Kota Bandung yang meliputi pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat yangmencakup pendidikan, pekerjaan, serta aktivitas sehari-hari lainnya. Selain ituseluruh fasilitas umum ditutup dan trasnportasi umum penggunaannya dibatasi sertamasker tetap digunakan saat di luar rumah dan face shield tidak diizinkan tanpamenggunakan masker.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the Islamic educational values contained in the Qashidah Jaljalut, a classical text often associated with mystical and esoteric practices. This study arises from a conceptual gap in the understanding of Islamic education sources. While Islamic education is generally linked to formal tarbiyah literature, there exists a prevailing perception that the Qashidah Jaljalut, as found in Manba’ Ushul Hikmah and Shams al-Ma’arif, is merely a product of occultism and supernatural tradition. This research seeks to critically verify such claims and to uncover the educational and spiritual dimensions embedded within the text as an antithesis to those assumptions. Using a qualitative library research design, this study employs a descriptive-analytical approach and content analysis techniques to interpret the text within the framework of fundamental Islamic values. The analysis draws upon core principles of iman (faith), tawhid (monotheism), ibadah (worship), akhlaq (morality), and muamalah (social relations) as benchmarks of Islamic education. The findings reveal that despite its mystical presentation, the Qashidah Jaljalut conveys profound messages of Islamic pedagogy and spirituality. It emphasizes the strengthening of faith, recognition of divine oneness, disciplined worship, moral refinement, and ethical social behavior. These elements demonstrate that the Qashidah Jaljalut functions not only as a literary or mystical work but also as a medium for moral and spiritual formation in the tradition of Islamic education. Therefore, this study contributes to recontextualizing classical Islamic texts within contemporary educational discourse, highlighting their potential relevance in nurturing holistic religious understanding.
